Went to the store since I was craving for Halo halo. Ordered 3 halo halo for me and friends, after placing the order I noticed that a lot of people in the store are still waiting for their food to be served. Waited for 10 mins for mine, still they haven't called my name yet. I was in a hurry and asked one of their staff where my halo halo is, and to my surprise they haven't made it yet!!!
The person at the register had to go in the back to make my order and he said he will deliver it to my table.
I had to wait for another 15 minutes for 3 freaking halo halos to be made. What's more frustrating is, you see a lot of their staff in the kitchen not doing anything. They all look like headless chickens walking around the kitchen and not doing their job!
One lady that ordered 2 dozens of siopao said she has been waiting for her order for 40 mins and they still messed up her order of siopao. What's so difficult about putting the siopao in your styro boxes? Or making 3 halo halos?
After my halo halo was made, they just left it sitting on the counter. I had to stand up again to get it, instead of what was promised of taking it to my table. No apology was given for causing delays. No empathy. Nothing. You guys should just quit your job if you don't like what you're doing!!!!
Their halo halo tasted terrible. The beans were super hard. Too much ice. I should've ordered it from the halo halo place next door!!!! Don't ever come here and waste your money. Find another place to satisfy...

I was hoping to leave 5 stars; but the service quality snowballed everything to down to 3 gracious stars.
There was no line when we walked in. The cashier saw us walk in but ignored us. We stood at the counter for 7 minutes - waiting for the cashier to give the standard customer service acknowledgment so we can order the DIM SUM.
I had to bite my tongue, keep calm, placed my 3 DIM SUM orders (Shanghai, Siomai, and Siopao). - I could not believe these READY MEALS took 25 minutes! I was not even called, this cashier placed the items at the counter and just left it there! I had to go to the counter and ask if these orders were mine - "yes" was the only answer I got - UNBELIEVABLE!!
SIOPAO was the only item we enjoyed. The Shanghai tasted like old medicine, and the Siomai looked like it has been in the steamer for over 24 hours - when we bit into it - it's confirmed. They are OLD.
Listen, I have been eating at Chowking since early 1990s in the Philippines. I know Chowking's qualities - reason why I have been a loyal customer.

We went there a couple of years ago and to this day, I would remember our horrible experience. This franchise does not deserve to even open its doors for business. Service was horrible , place was unsanitary and unkempt, and worst of all....the food which we thought would give us that comfort of eating much longed for Filipino food ended up in such dismay. The soup base for the noodles was soooo salty that even after they tried to dilute it with hot water was still unpalatable. How can this be? Of all standards that needs to be maintained a 110% was supposed to be for food products...
