Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Diego

I know it is small but this Church 's chicken is my go to because of their customer service and their food. I always go to drive thru and order on the weekends for game time, the hot and spicy chicken meal is great fill up for everyone plus I get myself two white pieces which are my favorite and every one else gets their favorite dark pieces, The one near me has bad customer service so I drive the extra to get great service and great food that is my money and I refuse to pay for bad food and bad attitude so I come to this Church 's chicken that don't treat people bad and if they don't have it they at least try to help by trying to make up for not having it, like they didn't have hot and spicy so I got regular,they gave me extra peppers for the family an a drink because I had to wait, I tip them because my customer service was so great , I could not help myself because good customer service is hard to find these days plus don't be mean to the crew they may surprise you by going above and a little beyond to help you. Yes, hint,hint. I always will go to this Church 's chicken the manger is a great guy he run a good crew, he ask me why I come to his store, I told him the great customer service and the food is hot and always good not cold and no one act like I am making their life bad(no attitude). Delicious has been my favorite fried chicken since I was a little kid going on 50 years. For my taste it's better than KFC, Chick fi le, El Pollo Loco, Popeyes. Church's has the best "CRUNCH", the original flavor is amazing but you can also ask for spicy and its so delicious. They have the best biscuits, the corn on the cob is a must and there huge jalapeños like no where else. Make sure to ask for their hot sauce packets to pour over everything. They have affordable family meals and I have never been in line too long. The other places are insane you have to wait sometimes close to an hour if not more to get to the window, why people do this it blows my mind, when all you have to do is go to the nearest Texas Church's Chicken! The only thing i would ask this place to work on is keeping their bathrooms clean, maybe they should updated, remodel it so it looks nice and clean, it looks old, dirty and not sanitary doesn't match up with the way the chicken tastes excellent! ON A POSITIVE NOTE, Why some people forget about Church's because they don't advertise all day long like the newer places. Maybe they are using their money to make the best chicken instead of spending it on advertising. I bet if Church's would make a blast commercial campagne it would take all the other chicken places off the charts. While Ive loved Churchs Chicken for many years, I have to be honest and candid about my last experience at this location on El Cajon Blvd. in San Diego, California. 1. Experiencing higher than normal temperatures, my wife and I decided it was too hot to cook at home. We debated between Popeyes Chicken and Churches. We finally decided on this location. Driving into the parking lot, there were no cars ahead of us at drive thru. My wife had to repeat her order several several several times. It seemed as though the equipment was old and failing. When the employee repeated our order, it was STILL WRONG. Pricing on sides seemed to us to be unreasonable. The so called large french fry was $4.95 each!! A "Large order of stuffed Jalapenos was $4.95 for seven pieces. The "Mixed" order of chicken contained absolutely no white meat whatsoever. Instead it contained regular dark meat and Spicy dark meat. When we got our order, the bag was barely hot. This experience was a gross disappointment overall. I promised my wife chicken to die for. That's not what we got this time.
