Edit: Prices have gone up several times. The original owner "Sai" sold it a few years ago to a family owner who kept things pretty much the same, then it was sold again to the current owners who added the Vietnamese items. I don't remember if they are still somehow related to Sai, but it's just not the same. I understand prices have to go up, but I believe the current owners raised the prices a bit too much. So much in fact that I only come here a few times a year now instead of once a week with the original owner. Use to be 2 sandwiches for $9 when Sai owned it, now I think it's 2 for $12? They've also limited what sandwiches you can get with the deal and it's only available specific times of day.
Love this sandwich shop. Been coming here...
Read moreMe and hubby went to get a foot long to eat on for 2 days. We got the medium combo. We wanted lemonade for our drink. I got the number 12. There was barely any meat. The bacon was raw, I couldn't taste the pepper jack. After the pink lemonade wasn't pink lemonade, we chose not to get anything to drink. They claim they were going to give us our money back for the combo, but, instead try to charges us for the other items. The purpose of a combo is to bundle it and not be charged for each individual item.... which costs more. We decided to go without and just get the sandwiches. I wish that we would've just gave those back too. Very disappointed and will...
Read moreI haven't been here in a while but here's my recollection from many many past visits. If you want a fresh, large, not over the top on flavor sandwich at a good price then this is your place. It's not going to be some hipster truffle oil on brioche type of sandwich. These are real sandwiches with just what you want on them. The bread is very good and they load it up for the price. I heard they may have banh mi now...will have to check that out soon,...
