Cotija's Mex Grill and Seafood — Restaurant in San Diego

Well I went in to grab a quick bit due to convenience. I am on a Ketogenic regime and ordered Menudo. I asked for extra cabbage instead of corn/flour tortillas. I got my soup and no cabbage, no salsa, no oregano, no hot sauce, and no napkins. So I had to ask a few separate times for the cabbage, the oregano, and had to get up and get some napkins and Tapatio hot sauce. The food was good but the service can definitely improve. My wife and I came in and ordered food here last night, we loved the energy they had and how friendly they were.. so we thought and we were truly disappointed and I wouldn’t recommend coming back to this place. My wife even met them halfway and ordered in Spanish, not only to impress but out of respect and admiration for the culture. We get home and come to find out her meal was under portioned and RAW yet my plate was perfect. I didn’t get why they did this but this was disgraceful and discriminating....

Horrible customer drive through service! The lady was super mean! I love Mexican food but her service was not very nice at all. She was super grumpy when she asked for the payment and she asked me what my order was and I told her oh shrimp burrito and carne asada chips.. and she said I thought you wanted fries, with a smirk on her face. And then I said oh yes sorry with a smile, and she slammed the window as she took my payment. Customer service needs to be corrected her. The food wasn’t all that...
