When my fiance and I decided we wanted Dennys I purposely told him to go to this location, as we have done so in the past and had good experiences. Unfortunately, that was not our experience yesterday.
We were greeted at the door and was shown to our booth by a very nice, young gentleman.
Our waitress Magali A (Maggie) came to our table, we let her know we weren't ready to order just yet, but if we could get water.. she told us to take our time and came back with water.
I was conflicted with some of the menu items because they had added some new editions. I decided to go with the new chicken bacon ranch sandwhich and extra crispy french fries! My fiance got the pancakes.
It took a while for the food to come out (even Maggie said "about time, right guys?" And laughed and so did we)
I took the first bite and the sandwhich tasted very salty/over seasoned. So, I added some ranch to the second bite but, by the third I just couldn't eat it any more.
I told my fiance, and he said he would let Maggie know when Maggie stops by. As Maggie stops by and asked "how is everything?" My fiance said, "she doesn't really like the chicken sandwhich..and before he could say anything else she looks at him and very sarcasticly says "Sooo, what you do want ME to do about that?" ...
I thought surely she was joking and was going to chuckle, and offer to either make something else, take it off the bill, discount it or something... I even looked at her and laughed a little awkwardly, but she stood there still looking at my fiance.
So he said "take it off the bill, she didn't like it." Maggie then said, "I will do it this one time, but usually if you order something you don't like, it's your fault!" (how was I suppose to know if I was not going to like a new menu item??)
Maggie then turned around walking towards the shared open space for staff members, my fiance and I BOTH heard her mocking him saying "Take it off, Take it off" to another employee.
She came back expeditiously with the bill. When we went to the counter to pay for the meal, we were asked if everything was good and decided to speak to the manager in that moment.
Even as we were talking to the Manager Maggie was washing her hands behind her managers back, so he couldn't see her looking at us, rolling her eyes as we talked to him before Maggie walked away. Maggie was very rude, passive aggressive, and unprofessional.
At first, I wasn't going to write this review, but for Maggie to think it was okay to talk to my fiance that way, turn around and mock him to other staff members, and roll her eyes when we were talking to her supervisor about her actions and words is beyond unacceptable to me and Maggie needs to be held...
Read moreIt was 3 AM on a Saturday. The bar we were at closed up shop for the night, and we were all shivering from the weather.
Craving something to quell our appetites, steady our minds, and warm our bodies, we decide to adventure over to this very Denny's (soberly, of course).
Promptly greeted and given the freedom to sit where ever we pleased in the open restaurant, my newly-formed group of friends took the corner booth to establish a comfortable dominance in the sparsely populated diner.
Our server for the night, Eduardo, made sure we were well-fitted with our drinks (water for the table and a coffee for me - no expenses spared with the creamers). The responsiveness and attentiveness displayed by the staff in the wee hours of the night were unmatched.
Building rapport and camaraderie with my friends in the restaurant's cozy atmosphere was effortless. The food arrived to our liking - enough time to build up an appetite (for a table of four) but short enough that we weren't getting restless (of course, that's never an excuse to treat anyone poorly). With Ivan's overview, our food came with our customizations to our liking - gravy on the side, sides correctly switched out.
We spent hours there. Our souls and our wallets left satisfied that night. I even felt the pull to be a regular here for the night shifts, as the friends I made that night were the highlight of my weekend (and it had...

4th. . We didn't even get one refill on our drinks even though we left our empty cups on the side of the table. I think that's what makes me the most mad is not getting a simple refill on a $2.50 cup of soda.
Don't waste your money for the amount of money spent at this Denny's I could of went to so many different...
