Denny's — Restaurant in San Diego

*UPDATE-It is now a week later, and all I received an automated response the day of my complaint saying that someone would contact me within a few days. I am very disappointed at Dennys that no one has reached back out to me other than an automated response. I just wanted to add this to the review so that everyone would know, if you go toDenny’s, please choose a different location because their customer service was not good in the restaurant and the customer service response team is horrible. There has been no response. #HighlyDisappointed.

I have gone to this Denny’s on and off for the last few years. I ordered some nachos a week and a half ago and I got them to go and I didn’t double check my order. When I got home to my surprise, I paid for a large order of nachos and it was the small side of meat and cheese. I was waiting for my grandchildren so I didn’t go back today. I went there again. I placed the same order. The same cashier took my order this time. I waited inside for my order. I checked my order when I got it and I told her oh I ordered the large order of nachos and this is for the order. She said oh you get the same amount for the small order that you get for the large. I said that’s not correct. I’ve placed this order several times. She began to tell me no, this is how we do things we get the same amount I said well why would you charge the same amount for two different amounts of food? I asked to speak to a manager she said no manager would be in today today. I asked to speak to a lead she said no lead would be in today. I said OK well, I will contact corporate because this just does not align with your prices and what I’ve purchased in the past. She then began to speak Spanish to the cook. He was the only one in the back and he argued that he was not supposed to give me a large container, even though I paid for a large and not small. I plan on reaching out to corporate because this is not the first time there has been an incident at this Denny’s....

Because I went with my children and some sat at one of the tables in the corner and ay. They abandoned us because none of the 3 bunk-servers came up and not a single one offered us after 15 minutes. Six people arrived and weighed them to tend and then they were serving them and I with my 2 children just watching and they kept me innocent till I I lifted them up and told them that if they did not want me to tend and the manayer answered me that he could not do anything because the waitresses were the ones who did the orders and not even I apologize as if one did not have a value one of my children is autistic I would like to know who is the owner because it can not be happening any more than they treat you worse than a trash people with autism are worth the same as a normal person I felt so bad because I was in front of so many people I felt umillada because the restaurant explodes with people I want to give me their opinion that arian. you in my place I want the owner of the restaurant to answer me if a person with a disability does not have the right to be treated like the others, whatever they saw me described by my...

Great staff that greeted me as soon as I walked in. We where seated right away. The waitress was kind enough to give us time since my toodler was having a meltdown because he wanted to keep pushing the button on the stuffed animal machine up front. The waitress went above and beyond she brought some gold fish snacks for my son and that kinda distracted him a bit but he still kept on with his meltdown for a while longer. My fiance wanted to leave, but we decided not too because my toodler was a bit tired and mostly hungry . Once he was settled down and the food came everything was great. The food was fresh made when ordered and location was clean. I tried the pumpkin pecan pancakes and let me tell you they where so delicious, a must try especially for the season. Absolutely wonderful customer service from everyone starting with the greeter, waitress and staff. Always attentive to the needs of others and ready to help. I wish this location was close to us since we live in East County but we will definitely be...
