Employee attempted to steal my credit card info after I placed an order online. I received a phone call from the store 20 minutes after my order. When I answered the employee calling me said that that my card had been declined which I thought odd since I have plenty of available credit. Employee was pushing for a new credit card number and since I felt uncomfortable I told him I'd pay in cash. He replied that the driver already left and doesn't have any change so if I wanted my pizza I needed to give a credit card number. I told him it'd be cash or he could take the pizza back, then hung up. Low and behold less then 3 minutes later the delivery driver showed up with my credit card receipt showing 'approved' across the top. I tipped the driver and called Dominos corporate to create a case with their fraud department.
Edit 3/2/18: Received a call from Dominoes corporate with concern of this matter. They were apologetic and asked more information to track down the person responsible. Due to my interaction with Dominos at a higher level I feel good about their desire to resolve the situation and hold the individual accountable. I don't want the negative experience I had with one individual ruin my overall satisfaction with Dominoes as a whole. Read moreIf there was a zero star I'd give it, after forgetting to deliver a soda I ordered, I called in to get a refund. The kid who answer the phone sighs and tells me there really vusg and he will give me a credit and than hangs up the phone. I call back and tell him I want to speak to a supervisor so he puts me on hold for 15 mins, so I have to call back at which point I tell him I just want the refund for the soda, he scoffs at me again and puts the phone on the counter, AND I HEAR HIM AND HIS CO-WORKERS TELLING HIM TO PRETEND HE IS THE SUPERVISOR. He gets back on the phone and I tell him I want to speak to the supervisor the way he handled me was disrespectful and completely against any type of customer service imaginable, he speak to me like a little kid and says we have no supervisor, I am the supervisor , you know lady we do get busy, as if the mistake they made wasn't even worth time time to correct. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any employee of any company over something that could have easily been handled in five minutes. When the delivery person got there, using the instructions I gave them, he didn’t make contact with anybody on the pool deck. And then just left with the pizza’s. Which were already paid for with tip included. After calling the driver and asking why he didn’t leave the pizzas he replied no one was there so I took them back to the store. Then said he wasn’t going to ask all 20 people he saw. So after calling the store, the employee told me that the driver told them that no one answered the door. Which he had clearly entered, my employees saw him come and go, they just assumed he left the pizza. The store said they would send them back out. Why would I want cold pizza? So I asked for a refund and the dominos employee said ok I’ll ask my manager to take care of that, it will be 3-5 business days and hung up. No confirmation, no follow up, and no apology.
