Drunk Confections — Restaurant in San Diego

So we haven't visited the bakery, but they set up shop every Wednesday evening at the Ocean Beach Market. I got The Julio, a rich Chocolate Peanutbutter Guiness Reeses bite, my spouse got The Jack Rabbit, a Jack Daniel's infused Carrot Cake with Grand Marnier and rich Orange Creme liquor frosting, and we shared The Hollywood based on Paul Hollywood's (The Great British Bakimg Show) favorite Sticky Toffee Pudding. You can SMELL the liquor and taste it in the cake bites and it happens to be a decadent, SINFUL indulgence I strongly recommend you try. Boozy Cakebites can lose the alcohol strength but not these. Amelia was SO incredibly kind and the cookies she made were INSANELY DELICIOUS!! I ordered two different kinds for a party and everyone LOVED them. I’ll admit that I was a tiny bit hesitant about the cost (based on orders I’ve placed in the past with other dessert places where custom cookies are about the size of a half-dollar coin), but WOW, the cookies were HUGE! My only complaint is that I live far and may have to move to San Diego solely for me to continue purchasing Drunk Confections goods because I cannot live without them now. I love to treat myself on the weekends, and Drunk Confections is the PERFECT weekend sweet treat! Depending on how much you like to eat, you can usually get 2 servings out of her cakes. My husband, however, usually eats his all at once! Every weekend it’s some thing new, so it’s fun to try different sweets every week!
