Brewery is awesome 5 stars (see below). Only complaint is comedy night on 9/13/2024.
My boyfriend and I consider ourselves as regulars at this brewery. We attended the first bit of comedy night and were really shocked by the host — he made really distasteful 9/11 jokes and it was really offputting and disrespectful. To be honest I don’t consider myself easily offended but the “jokes” he mentioned about 9/11 were truly disgusting and anti-American…. No one in the audience made any sort of sound.
We didn’t bother staying for much longer after that and left, but just wanted to leave feedback that the host of a comedy night should be more respectful and not start off the night talking about wanting to hit a button and kill 4000 people to get off school early and play Luigi’s Mansion to collect(?) the ghosts/spirits of the people that were killed in the tragedy.
Not sure who the host is but I recommend finding another host who can retain an audience.
——————————— One of my favorite breweries in town. It’s low key and has good vibes and great beer. They have events here a lot including bluegrass jam sessions, pasta making class, sushi making, and more.
My go to is the west coast ipa - crossing wizard, and my boyfriend loves the stoaked brown ale. The bartenders are super friendly and cool, and they even have a game room with claw machines that you can use to collect...
Read moreNot a good experience. Will probably never visit this venue again. I downloaded tickets on the internet with the purpose of visiting to check out the facility for an upcoming event which I am planning. There was a lady behind the bar who asked if she could help us. I asked if the manager was there and she looked at me and asked me "why" I thought that was a little off base but I explained to her that I'm an organizer and I'm looking at using the facility foreign upcoming event that I'm planning. I explained to her a little bit set the event will include two or 300 people and I would like to incorporate comedy into it. She wasn't really receptive to what I was asking her and she never even gave me the manager's name. She finally told me that he wasn't there and I could contact the company by email. The vibe I got from her was very cold and uninterested. Infected borderline rude. I guess the duck foot brewery is doing so well they don't need my business. Upon the party she handed me an email of someone to contact. At this point I had no more interest in doing business with this company. I'm sure I can find another venue where I'm not causing such an imposition. I would say duckfoot brewery needs to improve a little on their PR. Or at least learn a little politeness. I wish them good luck in whatever they're...
Read moreWe decided to check out Duck Foot Brewery for the first time as part of our quest to explore local breweries in the area. The place has a cozy vibe, although it's a bit on the smaller side. However, they've made the most of the space with tables both inside and outside, which was nice.
We tried a couple of their beers - the Belgian Blonde and the Sour Love - and found them quite enjoyable. However, we were a tad disappointed with the service. When we asked if we could sample two beers (one each), the lady taking our order seemed a bit flustered, almost as if she wanted us to decide quickly. It put a bit of a damper on the experience, but we went ahead and ordered our drinks and found a spot to sit.
Despite the service hiccup, we decided to grab some tacos from Josue, who was set up outside. Despite the long line, he was hustling and got our tacos ready surprisingly quickly. And let me tell you, they were delicious! Overall, while our experience at Duck Foot Brewery had its ups and downs, we still enjoyed ourselves and would consider giving it another shot...
