El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in San Diego

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I've come to this place about three times already in hopes that my food and experience would be better but NO. They NEVER have chicken, or corn, or bread. I don't know how this place still runs! The moment you tell them you'll wait for them to make more you pull up and they say "sorry were not making any more". The bigger chick with curly hair just stares at you like a complete idiot and comes by to assure you that she won't even make an effort to smile or make your order any better while you hear the staff in the background yell in Spanish that "no is no". It's like the damn cook and staff were to lazy to prepare more. Keep in mind this has happened at least twice. After changing my order like 3 times because they don't have anymore, i come home and some items were still missing!!! I paid 40 doll for a bucket of chicken that was not crispy and macaroni. My jalapeños were not there no corn no potatoes no nothing. I called and they picked up and left me on hold for 15 min! I called again after that and no one ever picked up! This was at about 5:30p....

Absolutely horrific! Ordering took more than five minutes since I was unable to get multiple direct questions answered. I got a lot of we don't have that in a combo... When I wanted a certain taco with a combo style. I asked to put it in a combo and charge the difference, but was met with we can't do that. When asked how many tacos in a combo I was met with we can't do a combo with the tacos you want. I asked a simple question, in the combo you do have for tacos, how many tacos in that combo. I was finally answered three, which I then ordered. When I finally did place my order, the tacos were slimy, the root beer tasted like the bag needed changing and worst of all when brought to the attention of the store, they said they just changed the bag and there was nothing to be done...sorry. It was absolutely disgusting and when I left a message for corporate a week ago detailing the specifics of this visit with the store number, time, date and my name and number to return... I've heard crickets.... Apparently, this happens often, so often they can't return a...

I have never wrote a review but I have to this time. I understand that their is times when employees are busy and it's hard to provide perfect service. With that said this was the most horrible experience I have ever had in my lif at a restaurant. I went in to order food and they were not even busy. They're was only two customers inside and I came up to the cashier and was waiting like ten minutes and nobody bothered to greet me. Finally they took my order and when my food was ready they just put my food in the counter and did not offer me my condiments (mild sauce). When I finally asked if I could have some they said that they were out. I than pointed out that the customer after me got some and than she reached under the counter and handed me my sauce. The customer after me asked for green sauce and they also told her they were out and when she confronted her about it she again reached under the counter and got some for her. Not sure why they are lying and why they are so unprofessional. Probably won't go...
