Wylde Sydes Tattoo & Body Piercing — Local services in San Diego

My first experience with this tattoo shop was when my friend and I went to try and get matching tattoos. The tattoo was five small words. (Small enough to be shop minimum) The estimate we received initially was 180$ each. We declined. Then the clerk countered back with 160$. We declined again. Then he countered 120$ but at that point we were over the rudeness of the clerk, and we noticed the shop was actually pretty dirty which was unappealing as far as wanting to get a tattoo there. We came back later because we wanted to know what font the clerk used so we could reference it to another tattoo artist. He then countered us 80$ each from the original price of 180$ each. I found this extremely offensive. I have had a lot of work done at many different shops and this is by far the worst experience I've had. It doesn't stop there... I came back for Friday the 13th in attempts of giving this shop another chance and with the thought they couldn't mess up a simple coin side tattoo with minimal detail or shading! The finished product ended up looking nothing like the stencil. I asked for thick lines and I didn't get it. He didn't used the colors I picked, and he dug so hard into my skin that now my tattoo is severely sinking DEEPLY into my skin and is far more painful than any of their other 20+ tattoos I've had. My tattoo looks like a black sink hole in my arm. I hope my tattoo heals without infection, or need for medical attention, and I would like to say more than anything I'm disappointed especially since I gave this shop a second chance. I will 100% be covering up this tattoo whenever it heals and I have no idea how this shop has...

Really cool staff! Didn't get the guy at front desks name but he was cook as hell. Went to get repeircings on my septum and nipples and Oreo did a great job. Insanely professional, private peircing room, keeps his station clean. I've gotten tattoos and pericings all over the world and he for sure is the best I've been to, clean station, opens all his supplies in front of you so you know it's steril, he changed out his gloves in front of me between my septum and nipples, and was very reassuring making sure I was okay and comfortable throughout the whole process, he also checked my anatomy for septum before doing it to make sure it would flip up like I need for work, I've never had peircer check anatomy to make sure it's a right fit! Nothing against the shop, this is towards the oreo body piercer. Many years ago a lady did all my ear piercings and facials and they were perfect. My last piercing, a belly ring, was with a new man and I took very good care of it I never had problems and I slept on my back, I trusted this shop enough to not go to another piercer which was a dumb choice, the piercing fell out after months of dealing with it and I have a huge scar, I recently went to a piercer in Escondido and they said my belly ring scar was due to misplacement and that the jewelry they used was not curved enough for my anatomy. This new piercer does not check anatomy, he does not customize the rings to fit clients, he just does them and hopes for the best, I basically paid $80 for a scar and the worst...
