Filibertos mexican food — Restaurant in San Diego

My gf and I just got back from this place a moment ago. First thing we learned when we opened the packages... they messed up on our orders.

Item 1: Supreme quesadilla. My gf asked for no pico and It came with tomatoes. And it did not come with the other components- the sour cream and guacamole. Then, she noticed the cheese tasted old and smelled old. The worse part of all for that this was the chicken... the chicken is spoiled rotten. It had a green tint and smelled rancid. This 13 dollar item was not edible!

Item 2: the carnitas burrito with cheese and sour cream... the lady who took our order said it came with pico and guac... the guac was watered down mixed with sour cream. The meat was dried out. It was jerky like as if the meat was left out for days under a heat lamp. If people read this and think "you ordered late at night what did you expect?" Its a 24hr spot they should have things fresh on hand at all times.

We threw out $32 simple meal and hoping we dont get sick from this.

Only positive is that it was our first and thank goodness our last time...

Ordered the carne asada with everything and got a shockingly small amount of fries with a bit of meat on top. Fries were extremely soggy and they still use those awful styrofoam plates. Not worth it for the prices they charge. Also the new sauces they provide are awful. No flavor, not spicy, and super small. This placed used to be called Taqueria Tijuana and what they served was much better. Especially the hot sauces they were delicious. Highly disappointed with the new name and ownership. I've only recently started going here but it is fantastic! I come by usually at midnight, and they are just as on top of things as you'd want a restaurant to be during a lunch rush. Super quick turnaround to getting your food, but is clearly made fresh, as the quality and flavor shows up. I highly recommend their fish tacos or shrimp burritos! The fish has a wonderful balance of light, fluffy feel, and yet has a great flavor.
