As soon as I came in I requested a table for 5. Once I was all settled with the menus I stepped outside to tell my husband our table was ready (I let the host know I was stepping out) and they gave my table away? And just scooted my stuff down a few tables? That's fine. I could get over that. It took between 20-30 mins for our server to ask if we wanted drinks so we went ahead and ordered our food at that time. The food took so absurdly long and when my food arrived, the entire inside of my french toast was raw egg, I had requested whatever fresh fruit they had available (I planned to share with my babies) and it was covered in the strawberries and raspberries for the lemonades and it was completely drowned in strawberry syrup. Even if it wasn't raw, it was unedible because of the way they dressed it. It look her about 45 mins to even circle back to where i can ask her to come over. I was gonna ask her to just take it off the bill but she pushed to have it remade. By this point everyone at my table had finished eating and 20 minutes into waiting to leave my food arrived. I asked for it to go because we had already been here way too long. The lady who brought the food said she's be back with a box and only brought lids. A to go box lid and a stack of 2 different sizes of souffle cup lids? So I had to wait to be able to get someone's attention again. We spend 2 hours there and I didn't even get to eat. Honestly one of the worst experience i...
Read moreI was waiting my turn with the cashier/manager. After a wonderful waiter. I was practicing social distancing for COVID and privacy. The manager finally finished with the previous customers who were awaiting their change. Instead of stepping to the side the customers chose to remain at the counter. After waiting for a while the manager approached me. I politely asked the manager to ask the customers to give me the same privacy & respect I gave them. The manager then told them "the lady wants you to move away from the counter". They looked at me, I politely repeated what I said to the manager. They refused to step aside. At that time. The manager could have taken more control of the situation. However She chose to allow me to continue to wait, after SHE INITIALLY approached me. Secondly, I asked her for change including one $10 dollar bill & two 5 dollar bills to tip the wonderful waiter we had. I took two steps away, and noticed the manager did not give me what I asked. I had to go back to her. Instead of her being upfront about that situation, and giving me the option, she chose to give me what SHE wanted me to have instead of what I asked for originally. So I ended up giving the waiter more money than what I intended. Because I wouldn't have wanted to give the waiter less. But the manager was horrible in her communication skills with me when it...
Read moreA certified rathole. I visited on Wed, 9 April for breakfast. Why I even stayed one minute defies logical explanation. I guess I was trying to give them a chance. The moment I entered this place, I knew something was wrong. No hostess to seat customers. Had to wait a few minutes til the waiter motioned us over to a two seat booth but it was all wrong. Underneath the seat was left over food debris from the previous customers. Nasty! You'd think they would clean up all around once customers finish eating. Apparently not. Not just that, the floors were all dirty too. I have pics. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Only one waiter on duty minus kitchen staff. Thinking about it, he was probably the owner doing waiting duties. Talking about being cheap. Service was a bit slow too. Once our order arrived, that was another disaster. Already feeling disgusted by the lack of cleanliness and hygiene, the food wasn't any better. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette. The moment I bit into it, I knew I made a mistake coming here. It tasted like I was eating powder. Made my stomach churn. I was actually glad when the check came albeit slow just to get out of this rathole. This IHOP did a major disservice to IHOP's brand. I certainly won't be returning to this place, run...
