Frutilandia — Restaurant in San Diego

Fruitlandia’s a little neighborhood gem I only discovered recently, but now I’m there almost every day for the strawberry water—it’s that good. The ceviche and fruit salad are solid too, but I’ll admit, I don’t know what half the menu is. The food’s great, but it’d be even better if they had an English menu or a few descriptions for people like me who don’t know their mangonadas from their chamoyadas.

Service can be slow, but that’s only because they actually take time to chat with customers. The staff are friendly, happy to explain menu items if you ask, and there’s always ample seating if you want to hang out. They even have a restroom they’ll unlock if you ask, which is a nice touch for a small spot like this.

Overall, I love it here, but a little translation might help people like me try more than just the strawberry water and maybe even stick around...

We are regular customers here i just came today for a pick up order mind you we always get the ceviche this time it tasted spoiled. I went to return it I had told the older lady that works there about the issue.she said that’s impossible that she had made it today and seemed to get offended. if she didn’t want to return the money at least to ask if we wanted something else in return because it’s not about the money. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have been coming here for a long time because I enjoy the strawberry fruit water. Well I came again on Sunday 6/25/23 to get my usual and I realized there was no strawberries in my water. So I went back to ask if I could pay for more or get more strawberries they told me no. So then I asked if I could just get my money back think drink was still almost full and well they said no. So then I asked to speak to a manager they said he’s not here.
