Incredible Cheesecake Company — Restaurant in San Diego

I normally don’t post any negative reviews but this place deserves one. I went to this place to get a slice of a cheesecake and looking at all the good reviews this place has, I felt I should give it a try. There was a decent selection of cheesecakes however when I asked the cashier if they were made today she replied with a no. That disappointed because I didn’t want to eat a two-day-old cheesecake. Who likes to eat a two-day-old cheesecake anyway? Nonetheless, I decided I wanted to go for something else and I chose a blueberry muffin (oh boy, what a great mistake have I made). I paid for the muffin. The cashier handed it to me and I made my way to the car. I took a first bite of the muffin and I almost broke my teeth. The blueberry muffin was rock solid. It felt like I took a bite of a rock. I spat everything out and was left with a nasty taste in my mouth (it was my first time trying a rock). I made my way back to the cashier and informed her that this blueberry muffin is about 2 weeks old and I asked her if she had anything fresher than that. She said “oh, let me bring you a fresh one”. At this point my hopes were not high, actually I lost all my hopes at this point. It took her about 3 minutes to come back from the kitchen and hand me a freezing cold little less than rock solid blueberry muffin. I refused the muffin she brought me. I would feel bad for the cashier working there if she at least offered me a refund, but she couldn’t offer me anything at all. She was just speechless. I was speechless too, so I left and will never come back. My advice to you is you should stay away from this place unless you want to try...

HOLY GRAIL OF CHEESECAKES. Jeez, Honestly this place is by far the most authentic real cheesecake experience you can get with more option then the Cheesecake Factory they really have something special here. I would recommend this to anyone in San Diego or visiting San Diego do not miss out on this place I swear you won’t be able to stop at one slice. First thing I want to mention is the quality, it’s next level some people seem to be complaining about the flavor lacking sweetness possibly? That’s probably due to the mass corporations making cheesecakes with way too much sugar like Cheesecake Factory, they aren’t comparable. This is like I said on a whole different level, you need to expect rich delicious homemade cheesecake not cheap sugar cheesecake. I mean I’m very impressed I’ve ordered on Grubhub as well because they are the only reliable source of cheesecake in San Diego that has authentic home made quality. You can taste the love they bakes into each and every cake! I might add that I recommend picking up due to delivery app drivers sometimes doing multiple deliveries before which can compromise the perfection of the cheesecake it needs to be well handled its really a special treat when our family gets to eat cheesecake from the incredible cheesecake company! I used to be able to buy their 18K cheesecake at Whole Foods but haven't been able to pick one up in months. The first time I tried their carrot cheesecake I thought I was just picking up a regular carrot cake at Whole Foods. I had only meant to eat 1/3 of the slice I bought to share the rest with my family and after one bite I couldn't stop and before I knew it I finished an entire slice by myself and ran to my dumpster to hide any evidence of my solo indulgence. I had never had such an amazing carrot cake...not overly sweet, rich, moist and just pure goodness. Upon examining the box I realized it was amazing because there was a cheesecake on top of a carrot cake and I made note of the bakery. I drove almost 2 hours to pick up one of their decadent carrot cheesecake. That should tell you the lengths I'll go to and how worthwhile their cakes are. I haven't tried any of their other cheesecakes as I'm a huge carrot cake fan. Gave out slices to other carrot cake lovers and they're hooked.
