Little Sam's Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

Upon ordering Little Sam’s I didn’t know quite what to expect at first I expected a small town little pizza shop as that’s what it’s kind of advertised very small you know didn’t expect too much upon ordering via phone call. I couldn’t have been more blown away by the service, and by the complete atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant they offer more than just pizza they have beautiful Italian dishes, which are reasonably priced for San Diego. I got our food, my wife and I and our pizzas looked to die for. The perfect amount of grease the perfect amount of crust, cheese, and toppings. It was simply layered amazing then we bit in for our first bite and saying we were blown away is quite the understatement. I definitely would recommend this place to anybody any pizza lover, or just foodie in general, where they can enjoy a nice quick bite to eat or to be honest if you just want to have a nice cheap dinner with high-quality food. They had mixed reviews for pizza and few for their pasta so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the lasagne and also a garden veggie pizza for lunch tomorrow. I was surprised to see such a large container for a single serving. Then, I went to try it. The lasagne was 90%sauce. You can see what few noodles were baked in were broken. The sauce tastes much like canned ravioli. There were no layers of noodles, sauce, cheese. Whats it called if its not layered?👎

The salad was fresh and though it had few ingredients, its was a big salad. 👍 The pizza looks tasty but its not pre-cut. Thats a service I took for granted.

I will have to review that tomorrow, after I cut it. For the lasagne, I give it below average with lots of room for improvement.

EDIT: The pizza was actually really really good! Im changing my rate to 3.5 stars. I reheated in a skillet, flipped it once to brown the cheese and it did not disappoint. Good...

Little Sam"s pizza makes the best, I mean the best Pizza Ive ever, EVER tasted. Truth be told I've never been a big pizza fan. In fact I didn't really like pizza because I never really ate it as a child all through my teenagers yrs & there on. & Im a firm believer in eating healthy yet I also believe if your going to eat somewhere that you don't normally eat, you really have to love their food & give it your best shot in indulging.
