My review is long, but I was pretty disturbed, so....
Their customer service was fine. Friendly and efficient. This is a combo restaurant Long John Silver's and KFC. The food was fine also, seemed fresh and was hot, a tad greasy - as friend shrimp and chicken will be! :)
My issue? After I ordered and picked a booth I looked down at the cushions of the seats. They were literally encrusted at the seams with food. I changed booths. The same. I was regretting my order at that point and got up to wash my hands.
It was worse in the bathroom. There was brownish/black spatters on the walls that resembled....yeah. Around the hand dryer they had attempted a repair on the metal with a thick coating of beige spackle with no finishing touches. The base of the toilet next to me looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. And the commode of my stall made me choose to wait to use another bathroom.
After looking closer in the dining room I chose not to bring it to Management's attention. It was very obviously a consistent, long-term sign of neglect at this location. And again, the overpriced food was....fine. And paying over $11 for a 2 piece chicken box and a 3 piece shrimp add on (that would have been $5 for chicken and $2.49 for shrimp if it wasn't a combo location) was my choice. But I couldn't get the thought out of my head that if the customer side cleanliness was so poor, what did the kitchen look like? :/ I definitely do...
Read moreI like the customer service but they didn't have the $20.00 meal deal or the shrimp for $10.00 that was on their site. I chose to pick up my order instead of pay the huge fee for delivery. It was cheaper to go to drive thru which was only open they aren't doing walk in orders at this time . I went feb 2, 2021. I was a little disappointed because the chicken wasn't that good but my fish and shrimp was good. My chicken taste like they needed to change their oil. I use to work for KFC so i know how to mystery shop for i was their shopper so I know what i be looking for in food and clean restaurant and customer service. My fish and shrimp save the day. They been good in the past but maybe due to covid-19 that they may not have enough people but I will go back because good customer service is my pet p for a restaurant if you got good customer service you go back because a person like to be treated like a value customer than dirt. Read moreVery, very disappointed and dissatisfied. This is the second time mistakes were made in our meals. First time coming, ordered 2-3 piece fish combos with 2 cold slaw. Cold slaw missing. Today was our second time coming and I ordered 1- 2 piece fish combo with cold slaw and 1- 3 piece fish combo. We get home again open our boxes we get in one box 1 fish 1 chicken strip, 2nd box 2 fish instead of 3 fish. I decide I'm returning this time we spent to much money not to get what we ordered. By this time I am frustrated 😠 to say the least. On arriving, cashier who took my order is awesome excellent customer service she called for the manager who was not pleasant she stated oh we owe one more piece of fish. I have traveled approximately 18 miles round trip. So I asked for 2 new fresh hot meals. There was no courtesy nor apology.
