As Chinese, I can confidently say that this Mongolian hotpot restaurant truly captures the essence of this traditional dish. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that instantly transported me back to my homeland.
The menu offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients, allowing me to customize my hotpot to my liking. The quality of the ingredients was exceptional, with a vast selection of thinly sliced meats, fresh vegetables, and delectable seafood. The meat was tender and flavorful, while the vegetables were crisp and vibrant.
The broth options were diverse, ranging from mild and savory to spicy and aromatic. I opted for the traditional Mongolian broth, which was rich in flavor and had a perfect balance of spices. It truly complemented the ingredients and enhanced their natural taste.
The service was impeccable, with attentive staff members who were knowledgeable about the menu and always ready to assist.
I highly recommend this Mongolian hotpot restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience. Whether you are a Chinese customer or someone looking to explore Chinese cuisine, this place will not disappoint. The combination of delicious food, warm ambiance, and exceptional service makes it a standout choice. I will definitely be returning to indulge in their mouthwatering...
Read moreWell let's start off. 12-23 was the date of our visit. Just 2 of us. We were sat at the bar just fine and proceeded to look over the menu. After ready the yelp reviews and comments about a lunch special (reason we came) prices and items where shown in the menu. The waiter said they will not honor the lunch special. So our lunch just went from $12 to $22. Now how to order is tricky and needed help. After getting some help on how you order as there are many options sizes and combinations we placed out order by flagging down the wait staff. The broth came out, picked 2 kinds House broth is very bland and the spicy on the second. The second was not spicy at all but it had more flavor. The vegies came out first and 20 min latter we are asking where the meat is. One order of meat came out for one order and expecting the other order to follow. This is not happen had to ask again for the rest of our order 10 min later. So 30 min into the meal I finally received everything that was orders. We only received one refill on our ice tea and that was after asking twice and was finally refilled after our meal was done and bill was given. NEVER again will I go here. The food is not great for the price and the wait staff is non helpful or attentive to the customer. Also not honoring the prices in the menu...
Read moreInconsistent portions. We went 2 days in a row for AYCE with guests from out of town. One time was with 10, and all the veggies came in one regular sized basket. The following day, it was 7 of us and all the veggies came in their own basket. The rice one right was a tiny bowl so the second night, we ordered up only to have large bowls brought to the table. The first night, I asked for a refill of the same meats and got chicken instead (chicken was never selected at all). The same shrimp balls came as 6 one night and then 3 the next. The 3 were served on slices of cucumber even though the 6 had to be peeled off the plate. Ice cream was always hard to come by, even though I ordered it when I placed my orders.
Other than these issues, the food was delish and it was perfect for a cold December night. I developed a 2-ladle method, where the holey ladles are like extensions of my hands. I could scoop some and pour it back and forth to clean it up before putting it in someone's bowl. My favorite was the wagyu beef belly with sha cha sauce and egg yolk. I also quite enjoyed the sesame cake, Mongolian beef pie, potstickers and cucumber salad. If I had more room, I'd drink the soup. Oh, and the lychee green tea was yummy, too! Would definitely return when I feel like rolling out some dough...
