Visiting my hometown of Imperial Beach always provides an opportunity to reminisce with old favorite eateries and find new ones. Panaderia Gonzalez is a hidden gem. It's not too hard to find, but it is in a strip mall. I went early in the morning to get fresh pan dulce and I was not disappointed. There's quite a variety and there was my favorite - puercos ! Have to say five ⭐ for their great bread, awesome pan dulce, not over priced at all. Everyone is nice there. A couple or one ⭐ for that one person that works there in the mornings. This young lady seems bothered every time customers come in. So grab your bread and get out! Highly recommend...

Worst bakery ever you order bread for a special occasion and they wont have it ready...when you go pick it up they tell you that they will have it hours later... you tell them you'll just pick it up the next day and they dont tell you that they wont be opening...very...
