I had the absolute pleasure of getting Taylor at the Santee location today, which reminded me of my last few experiences at the Carmel Costco. 15mins to wait for a drink only and when the window person didn't greet me after calling my number (she was busy looking frantically at the tickets) she decided to speak for the sake of speaking, and ask me to remove the number I had laid down, from. The. Counter. First of all, you're wearing gloves. Can't "contaminate" you. Secondly, and this is what reminded me of it, Santee ASKED to take my ticket and disposed of it for me. PERHAPS if Costco Carmel, instead of inventing rules, minded their BUSINESS, not only would their service times improve, but so would their rating. Almost 20mins to get a cold drink in 100 degree weather is ABSURD. I shouldn't have to wait for everybody who isn't concerned about contributing to global warming to get their pizza. Read moreI really enjoy going to Costco with the family for our everyday needs. The food court is one of the best places to go to get hot and ready food. Workers are always friendly even though it super busy during lunch time, they always have a smile on their faces when I’m there. The one issue that I have is the rudeness of the customers, that are standing in line, you’re the reason they have low star rating. Many times, I would hear someone say, “The staff is slow and have no clue of what they are doing”. Really, is this McDonald’s!!! Are you that hungry to a point that you need your food that very moment??? I just nod and laugh to myself. If your reading this, please stop arguing with the staff, don’t tell them that they are slow and that you need to open more windows. “Think”, this is time you’re taking from everyone else in line with your little drama. Read moreI ordered a pizza from Costco over the phone, and they told me it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I arrived, they asked me to pay at the kiosk, which I did. After 30 minutes, the pizza was still not ready, and when I checked 10 minutes later, they said it would take another 10 minutes. I had to leave to pick up my kids and planned to return afterward. When I came back, they told me they had given my pizza away because I wasn’t there, even though I hadn’t requested or received a refund.
