Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in San Diego

Unprofessional. I came in and was asked to wait for the person on the phone to finish and he would help me. There were two other workers in the front but they couldn’t help me because...? So I sat down after waiting a minute. Another lady came in and they told her the same thing. She stayed standing. Another customer came in, and he was told the same thing. The man who had told me to wait came to the front and started helping the second lady while the first worker was STILL on the phone. I was upset because he knew I had been there a couple minutes waiting. For being in a convenient location, and not as busy, a lot could have been done better. The guy in the phone was clearly not going to finish his conversation ASAP, so why not attend to the customer that walked in the first time. They didn’t even ask if I was picking up or ordering. If they had, they would have quickly gotten the pizzas to me with...

My girlfriend and I ordered pizza from this Murphy Canyon location last night at 10:45 pm not realizing they closed at 11pm. When we realized what time they closed, we joked about hoping they “don’t spit in our food”. We picked up our pizza and noticed the employee making the pizza had a long beard with no hair net on it (didn’t think much of it until we got home. Open the pizza box and the first slice of pizza had a hair in it!! (picture attached) We thought coincidence or was it? Brushed it off as an accident and ate a few of the other slices after carefully examining them. Got to another slice and boom another hair!!! We’re wondering if this was done with ill intent for ordering close to closing time or was it due to the fact that there was no hair net for the beard. Leaning towards the first one. Either way we will not be ordering from this restaurant...

I received a coupon for a free medium cheese pizza from the Papa John's Murphy Canyon store. I've only had Papa John's pizza once and that was maybe 35 years ago, so I thought I'd give it a try. The young man who was working there was very pleasant, greeted me and told me it would help about 15 minutes. I left, then came back after 15 minutes. He said it was in the oven and would be maybe another 2 minutes. A few minutes later, he handed me the pizza and I took it home. Thank God I didn't pay for this pizza. Because it was nothing but dough. There was a little bit of sauce and then a little bit of cheese on it, but it was mostly dough that was slightly undercooked for my taste. So I definitely will not be going back to Papa John's. I give it a 1 out of 5 for the quality of the pizza, but give it a 5 out of 5 for...
