Food: below average, got the number 1 pho which is usually the house staple in terms of pho. Medium bowl is decently sized, but that's about all that's decent. Broth is very plain and lacks any richness or depth of flavor, it's just salt. The beef cuts that you get are nice and varied, noodles are average, typical thin vermicelli.
Drink: got a Vietnamese ice coffee with my meal. Came in a flimsy to go plastic cup pre mixed with about 3/4 ice. Have to use a thin straw to drink it and still every sip is 1/2 ice chunks. All I can taste is the burnt reused grounds for the coffee, completely bitter and not a hint of sweetened condensed milk. Not worth the 5.50 they charge, you're better off going next door and getting a coffee at the boba shop
Service: abysmal, waited at the front for any staff or waiter to seat me, almost turned around and walked out as the whole dining room had 3 tables during peak lunch hour on a saturday and not a single waiter to be seen. Of the 20-30 mins I spent eating here, all i saw was 2 wait staff and they only appear in the dining room for 1 min at a time. Had to wait 5 mins to even flag down a waiter to get the check. Could have walked out and no one would have even been there to see me leave without paying.
Overall: DON'T COME HERE. This spot used to be an old asian restaurant, and it feels like it's the exact same people who ran the previous place, same old horrendous service and mediocre food. The dining room got renovated and looks amazing with bright atmosphere and colors, but the food and service is about as bad as it gets. It's like this spot is cursed, gave it a shot cause there was a giant Grand Opening 1/31 sign out front, but will not be...
Read moreI am vietnamese and I've eaten Pho my entire life. My family and my relatives also make pho. I've tried pho at all the local pho restaurants nearby and around Los Angeles and I have to say this is by far the WORST pho I've ever had in my life. The pho was actually chicken broth. There was NO beef at all. They used beef meat but the soup flavor was all chicken. I can tell because we cook chicken pho and this was all chicken flavor. The egg rolls inside were actually not cooked all the way and the pork meat was still pink. I don't want to get sick after eating here but undercooking pork is very DANGEROUS. The soup was absolutely flavorless. Do NOT waste your money coming here and the service was not good. No apologies made after we let them know about the soup or the undercooked meat. Surprising it was so bad as the pictures actually made it look good. I don't normally care about the service, but I had to flag the service everytime I needed something because I would have sat there unnoticed forever if I hadn't. This place is one of the worst places I've ever been to. Also, the responses from negative reviews by the owner is cut and paste so you know he doesn't care much about the responses, think about what it is...
Read more⚠️ Had a difficult time selecting 3 stars so I’m selecting 2. Service is -1. If your idea of going out to dinner and plate + drink is $25 person AND you want to eat even approximately at the same time with your family members or friends - FORGET IT IF YOU GO HERE! ⚠️ Reviews below, not just mine confirm this. 3 (of six) in our party were served timely. The next one was served 15 minutes later. The 5th one was served 40 minutes later. The 6th one was served 50 minutes later. What is most shocking is as this problem became more obvious, the servers went ‘missing in action’. They also distinctively wouldn’t even look in the direction of our table as they attended other tables. It was so glowing obvious that at least 2 people in our party had not been served when the other 4 were done with their plates. I give this place 12 months at this rate and if they can’t execute on their menu. Why would a family party or group of friends go spend $200 to eat at...
