Views West Park — Attraction in San Diego

Such a GORGEOUS big Park!! My pup and I always have a great time walking around there, and he loves all the different sections- incl the lower softball field, the upper baseball field with surrounding Walking Path, the lizard-filled nature areas on the outside of the Path, the picnic table areas (where there's always a ton of bunnies to chase at night), the tennis courts (which also often host sun-bathing lizards when there's sunny patches), and including the big grassy patch and sand volleyball court tucked behind the kids' play structures- which he also loves to sniff (finding out where the kids' shoes have been recently 😍)... even though he's too terrified to climb up a single stair (which don't worry- I only offer him the chance to do when there's NO kids around)! 😉 Even in between bursts of rain last night, we still managed to find a new pup friend to run & play with!! Such great neighbors always around 😊 And having a Restroom there is often a vital part of our visit, since I ALWAYS seem to need it- even when I could swear on arrival that...

Clean and lovely shaded playground for kids (2 different sections for big and small kids). Also large grassy areas and fields for all sorts of recreational activities (softball, beach volleyball, soccer, football, baseball). Large pergola that can be reserved for private gatherings. Large parking lot with restrooms. It's also patrolled by SDPD periodically throughout the day, so I feel very safe here.

I'm only giving 4 stars because the playground doesn't have swings. And people tend to let their dogs...

Views West Park is our go to choice for my son’s birthday party. We reserved this parked twice already and it’s perfect. There’s a flat area for a bounce house, a volleyball court, really good size gazebo, big grill, more grills, plenty of tables, chairs and the best part covered playground. The park is secluded and easy parking. There’s also a football field and nearby restrooms. This park will always will be close...
