SO bad. I had heard a lot about the great Mexican food in SD so was excited for my first lunch here - this place, apparently, is NOT what people were talking about. I got a shrimp taco and it was open faced on a tray covered loosely with aluminum foil, so very squished, and they clearly didn't even attempt to clean the shrimp. The other couple things I got were also super cold and looked disgusting. The cheese "enchilada" was just unrelated shredded cheese in and around a tortilla soaked in a lifeless sauce that tasted more like sand than chile. Cabbage covering the entire monstrosity. Couldn't bring myself to eat more than a bite. Also, just a heads up, if you ask for sauce on the side instead of on top of something, they will charge you for it. Lol.

My wife and I were in the Pacific Beach area recently and decided to have a quick breakfast at this Roberto's location. We ordered a pair of ham egg, ham and cheese burritos to go that were prepared quickly. The food was good as you would expect from any other Roberto's location. We will be back when in the area.

I went there to try the carne asada burrito and it was amazing. Thanks guys for coming to PB!! I will definitely go back and try more plates! The place is small but very clean and neat! Staff is great and very knowledgeable of the menu! I recommend this place.

Ordered takeout by phone using the menu on their website. When we picked it up the bill was almost 50% more than expected. A Carne Asada burrito and a grilled chicken rice bowl were almost $25! No drinks. No extras. No special requests. The online prices showed we would pay $15 plus tax. When we asked the girl about it, thinking there was a mistake, she said prices had gone up and the online menu prices are wrong. Then she said she actually should have charged an extra dollar because my chicken was grilled. Wow really?!? The food was good but a couple customer service tips to share with them: first, if you know the prices are wrong online and it's a phone order you should let the caller know. Secondly, don't add insult to injury by telling us you should've charged us more when we were already shocked by the price. I love the food and what used to be reasonable prices but this was ridiculous. And insulting. 1 star for cuisine service. 4 stars...

I’m visiting San Diego and was very disappointed with the food and service. First of all, the guacamole from the chips&guac was runny and tasted like chemicals. Never thought I’d favor the chain Chipotle over a local restaurant. Second, the fish taco I ordered was dripping oil, not salsa! Really oil from the fried fish. Lastly, after I ate the first taco, I noticed the shell of the second one had mold on it. Yes, blue mold! I went in and showed the cashier and he tried to say it was cilantro. Then the manager came and said it was cabbage. I asked him to notice that it was not something else, the color was in the tortilla itself and only on that spot. He made a face and refunded the money. My advice to you is ask someone who lives in the neighborhood. Or go to Chipotle, at least you know they have good standards,...
