We stumbled upon this coffee cafe while searching Google for a route to a meeting. It was on our way and had a lot of 5 star reviews. So, we gave it a try. I was hungry and ready for something different. This place is located within the Balboa Tennis Club. It is not hard to find, but is off the beaten path. We ordered an acai bowl and a breakfast burrito with soy chorizo, as well as a Mexican mocha. This was not prepackaged food, but a freshly made burrito. After picking up our food and digging in, we both enjoyed the flavors and quality of our food and the mocha. Prices are equivalent to other type places in the area. We watched a couple tennis matches (nothing formal) as we ate. I would recommend this to locals and visitors. Nothing fancy. But good.

Route 6 was on our way back home to LA, so we showed up unaware that it's located in a tennis club and we felt very out of place and we were stared at for trying to find the entrance.. it was very strange and uncomfortable. I ordered a latte which was okay, but tasted like there wasn't much coffee, but another $1 shot of espresso made it taste great! We ordered food, two of us loved it, the other two didn't as the food was really bland and we were told they don't use anything such as salt or pepper, so I threw my food away, but some ppl love bland food. Overall their prices were great and we were mostly satisfied after some adjustments, but I wouldn't go here again.

EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD! Probably one of the best smoothies I’ve had. Cute little gem surrounded by tennis courts and outside atmosphere. I loved it, will definitely be back. Food was delicious too and fresh. Person taking my order was sweet and had such good energy. 10/10 Recommend!

I agree with Aleksandra below; the hype for this place led us here, but it wasn't great, just below average. It seemed like the family of the owner or whomever was at the register took priority and played a distraction to service and care. The smoothies were average, nothing that stands out. I had the Green Smoothie and it was pretty standard. I also had the Avocado Sunrise Burrito which I had ordered with the addition of bacon. I was charged +$2 for the bacon and there was hardly any in it. They must buy the bag of bacon bits and sprinkle it in. Definitely not worth the extra $2. It is a rip off, especially when you can't even taste it. Worst off, it lacked seasoning! The potatoes were literally boiled and cubed with nothing aiding it in flavor. It was very disappointing. My wife had the Acai bowl. She said it was decent, the only bad part was the acai was frozen and she had to carve it out with her plastic spoon. Definitely on my "Do not...

Despite living in SanDiego 85% of my whole life, this was the first time I had visited Morley Field in the daytime. I don't really wonder why since the activities are not my type of sports. The coffee tasted good, the Service was suffice; it's just not my sort of ambiance.

[Edited from: Based upon the barista, I probably will not come to this coffee shop again. It'll probably be fine to you, but that is not my sort of ambiance.] In response to business inquiry, I am uncertain about why, I just know I would get clumsy and cantankerous. I come from the social view that there is nothing wrong with someone else's demeanor, it's just one I individually wouldn't coalesce well with. ('Will edit this part put in...
