I agree with Aleksandra below; the hype for this place led us here, but it wasn't great, just below average. It seemed like the family of the owner or whomever was at the register took priority and played a distraction to service and care. The smoothies were average, nothing that stands out. I had the Green Smoothie and it was pretty standard. I also had the Avocado Sunrise Burrito which I had ordered with the addition of bacon. I was charged +$2 for the bacon and there was hardly any in it. They must buy the bag of bacon bits and sprinkle it in. Definitely not worth the extra $2. It is a rip off, especially when you can't even taste it. Worst off, it lacked seasoning! The potatoes were literally boiled and cubed with nothing aiding it in flavor. It was very disappointing. We stumbled upon this coffee cafe while searching Google for a route to a meeting. It was on our way and had a lot of 5 star reviews. So, we gave it a try. I was hungry and ready for something different. This place is located within the Balboa Tennis Club. It is not hard to find, but is off the beaten path. We ordered an acai bowl and a breakfast burrito with soy chorizo, as well as a Mexican mocha. This was not prepackaged food, but a freshly made burrito. After picking up our food and digging in, we both enjoyed the flavors and quality of our food and the mocha. Prices are equivalent to other type places in the area. Despite living in SanDiego 85% of my whole life, this was the first time I had visited Morley Field in the daytime. I don't really wonder why since the activities are not my type of sports. The coffee tasted good, the Service was suffice; it's just not my sort of ambiance.
