Great dog park, only downside is there’s no fence between the parking lot and other areas of the park so hopefully your dog has good recall, I view this as a plus however because my dogs do have good recall and it’s less hassle with the leashes and timing of other people coming and going through double gates that are typically there. It’s an L shaped park with a grassy and tree filled area that’s tighter but also then has a very wide open area that has dirt. Poop bags and trash bins are well used and placed throughout the park as well as a water station

My dog and I like Grape St and Fiesta Island more but Morley is better than most parks in San Diego. This place is not completely fenced but I consider that a pro since dogs in an unfenced dog park tend to be better trained and more well socialised. There are some relaxing trails that connect to the dog park and it’s a peaceful place to chill. Most of all my dog gets enough space to relax without being stressed out by pushy dogs who haven’t spent enough time outside or been trained.

I really enjoy coming to this dog park. It's a bit hidden to get to but worth the trip. Its big with plenty of space for your pup to run. The dog park isn't really fenced in although the park is big and secluded enough you don't have to worry about your dog getting into too much mischief. Plenty of other friendly pets and their owners. There is also a hike that starts at the end of one side of the park.

I really like this dog park, but it's not for everyone. I say this because it's not enclosed. If you have a 'wanderer' or a dog that doesn't come when called, it would be problematic.

It's a beautiful park, but it's also located in a canyon. I've heard from others that coyotes can be a problem. If you have a smaller dog, I'd be hesitant to bring them around dusk, which is when coyotes start to come around the outskirts. There have been attacks here- so keep a close eye on smaller dogs and bring them during full daylight hours.

All that being said, my dog, who is a little bigger and doesn't wander too far, has a...

Caution using especially if your dog has tons of fur. Couldn't play with my dogs here bc of the sticky seeds that are a pain to remove.

Half of the off leash dog portion is covered in sticky weeds seeds that can cause you thousands in vet bills if you're unlucky enough (esp foxtails). There is a dirt area that's better but do note the park is completely open and not fenced towards the parking lot side of the dog park so watch out. There are logs for dogs and yourself to climb but watch out for snakes (unsure if they go this area but if there's canyonlands chances are there are...

I don't see how this is a "Dog Park" for there is no fencing around the so called park. Never seen a dog park without a fence. Plus no separate park for small dogs..all dogs together which made me very nervous when 3 very large dogs approached my 25lb dog. The space is just dirt with a water fountain and smelled so horrible. I personally decided to keep my dog on his leash and walk the trail..when we came back to our van another dog followed us into the parking lot and I had to go find it's owner. Irresponsible owners and city for this so called "dog park". Will not...
