Hello friends, it's me again. Once again back in San diego. This time on our family trip, it leads us to Balboa park. You want to talk about history, this park has it all. From plant life from all around, to the beauty of the buildings. This is like one big Museum that is full of history from all around the world like I said. There are so many museums to choose from from here it's ridiculous. And the scenery is amazing. I recommend you wear shoes on this day cuz it's a lot of walking. Not only that unfortunately a lot of the museums you need to pay to go in, so be prepared to have your wallet open I suggest looking at the map and seeing what places you are interested the most. A lot of different restaurants here too. I can keep going on and on and on about this place but I'll just leave it up to you, to come and visit. Not only that there's other places too besides this they have a zoo there they have parks that you can go walking and Hiking on. There's a golf course, there's also stuff for frisbee golf. And yes it is dog friendly here at this Balboa park. Here's some pictures from that visit. God bless you all,...

This sprawling 1,200-acre cultural park is a perfect mix of beauty, history, and fun. With its lush gardens, stunning Spanish-style architecture, and world-class museums, there’s truly something for everyone here.
We started at the Botanical Building and Lily Pond, and wow—what a peaceful, picture-perfect spot. The variety of plants and the serene pond make it feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard.
The Fleet Science Center was a huge hit with the kids! While it was a bit smaller than expected, it was packed with interactive exhibits and cool gadgets that kept us all entertained for a solid two hours. Instead of the usual ball pit, they had a live animal exhibit this time, which was a fun surprise and definitely made the visit extra memorable.

Whether you're into museums, gardens, walking trails, or just soaking up some fresh air, this place really has something for everyone. The architecture is stunning, the green spaces are peaceful, and there’s always something happening—street performers, cultural events, or just people enjoying the day.
You can easily spend a whole day here exploring the museums, visiting the zoo, or relaxing by the fountains. It's also a great spot for families, photos, or even a quiet solo stroll.
The only downside? Parking can be a real challenge on weekends and holidays. It gets busy fast, and you might find yourself circling for a while before finding a spot—especially if you come later in the day. Best advice: try to arrive early or use public transit if you can.
Overall, though, Balboa Park is a must-visit. It’s one of those places that truly captures the heart...
