WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid employee named TOM at all costs! He needs to be terminated immediately as he is driving away loyal paying customers with his bipolar, aggressive, completely inappropriate behavior.
Was in on Thursday 3/18 to frisbee golf with my fiancé. Checked in the front per usual and received our wrist bands and proceeded to hole 1 where Tom was sitting, operating it. Was immediately asked if we had masks (never asked this before and we have been religiously going since the pandemic started, as well as years before the pandemic) and we said yes, then was followed with him asking if we had poop bags for our 2 dogs that we brought. We again responded yes, as he had just saw us clean up after them with those bags.
Now came our turn to throw. My fiancé threw first, and as I stepped up to the podium to throw, I was met with him screaming at me to stop. He then proceeded to try and turn on his megaphone to talk to me, which was completely unnecessary considering I wasn’t more than 10 feet from him. He screamed at me to chill out (I hadn’t said one word to him as I was in shock) and then continued harassing us by repeatedly asking if we had any poop bags in this aggressive tone, after he had asked us previously, received an answer, and saw us just use them.
We were confused as to why he let my fiancé throw but not me, considering we were the only ones scheduled to be in a group together. My fiancé stood up for me (as I still was in shock not speaking)and asked him his reasoning as to why he let him go but not me. Tom continued to tell us to chill out and asked about the poop bags. I finally found my voice and told him that he was harassing us and we proceeded on to hole 2 as to not escalate the altercation.
Multiple people saw this incident, as they were waiting at hole 1 to throw too, and many ended up approaching us while playing, including a current employee who apologized for Tom’s behavior. Apparently we weren’t the first ones to come across his aggressive demeanor, as he had been getting multiple complaints from other customers too with his inappropriate use of the megaphone and bipolar personality. This is concerning, as the owner/manager has done nothing to address Tom’s behavior or terminate him as an employee, despite the multiple complaints from paying customers.
Unfortunately, I will not be returning until Tom is terminated/corrected, as I will not subject myself to being treated like this. It’s very disheartening, as Morley field was our favorite place to play and spend time with each other...

Read moreI thought this was a really nice course. $5 on weekdays, $6 on weekend. BUT, I read a lot of claims that this is a "bucket list" course. As someone who takes trips to courses based on reviews, I think that's a bit overselling it. Coyote Point at Lake Casitas, I'd drive 2 hours to play that. The "outback" at Perry Championship in Visalia, and of course Sky High in Llano, these are bucket list courses. Not to be negative, but if anyone is thinking of driving several hours to play this, not sure it's worth it. But if your'e already in San Diego, 100% def check it out. I'm guessing the "bucket list" label is due to its history. It's one of the first courses in the world going back to 1978, credited as the first "pay to play" course. It's very well maintained by a disc community that loves the game and is considered "the busiest course in the world" (though kudos to their staggered start teams, it didn't feel crowded until the back 9 that got a little backed up.) But history aside, the course itself is fine, I'd say a few notches above average. If you want a REAL bucket list check this out:
