Only reason i am giving them one star is because their drinks are their only redemption. Customer service left lots to be desired; their employee, Hispanic bootleg version of Brody Jenner, whose name is Jacob I believe, was unbelievably RUDE to ANYONE that was not white. He treated the customer in front of me, who happened to be white, with respect. But when it came to me and my partner (we are Hispanic) he was incredibly rude. At first i thought i did something to offend him, though i did nothing, but when he helped the customer behind me, who was also white, he went back to being polite and charming. This is not a one time incident, i have witnessed his behavior towards anyone who isn't white before, this was my third encounter with him and it was as bitter as the first time i came in here. I will not be returning to this establishment again, and i will make sure all of my acquaintances know of the blunt racism i faced here so they too will not be given the same disrespect and belittlement...
Read moreI'm rating Starbucks five stars because everytime I walk into any other coffee shop in this area, I get treated like a vagrant. Testy people asking me again and again "What do you want to order?" even after I stand aside and tell them I'm looking at the menu. My favorite experience is when the counterperson sternly told me "No public restrooms" as soon as I said "Hi". I am constantly getting the wrong drinks, such as no flavoring when I ask for it, regular milk instead of brevé and once, brewed coffee instead of a latté- I saw her pour it! And over and over, people take it upon themselves to explain to me that espresso has coffee in it. It doesn't have coffee "in" it! I will always choose chains over local businesses. The chains don't care who I am- they provide products and I pay for them. I have been loyal to Starbucks since 1998, and I'm happy to have a refuge from the Hipster Nazis who are afraid that I might disturb the integrity of their trendsetter...
Read moreWow I thought I was the only one but after reading some other comments I see I am not. I have had the same problem with the employee jacob. I thought it was just in my mind that he was treating “white” people better than me and my family but I guess he had done this to others too. I ordered a sandwich and when I asked him if he could heat it up for me he rolled his eyes at me, but when the white lady behind me was ordering a sandwich he even asked her if she wanted it warmed up and was being super nice to her, a quality that I was never shown. He honestly needs to get talked to if he is doing this to multiple people. Not only is it incredibly rude but also racist, won’t be...
