Watch out, this place will overcharge you! I have had nothing but bad expiriences with the owner of this location, and we've gone in half a dozen times over the span if the last year... It shouldn't be called a Subway, as they never honor any of the subway commercials or coupons, even when they're still good. We decided to try one more time because our other favorite location no longer exists and this is the only subway in Pacific Beach. Big mistake. (The other worker told us they want to quit everyday because they are treated so terrible, and feel horrible and embarrassed in front of customers daily. Simply because the manager lady is so stingy and mean.) I get that people have bad days, but to wait 20 minutes for food and than have to walk away... (we order two sandwiches, a cold cut, and a tuna, both 12" and that was it. It was almost $20!!! She told us it was because of the tax, but it still didnt add up right...) I dont understand how this place is still even in business. We also had issues trying to get a big order catered, being told that we could make our order, set a date and pick it up, only to go in and be told that they don't do catering and left us high and dry on the day we made the order for. It's somoly a very unethical and unbusiness-like management system. If I could give 0...
Read moreI had walked in at 7:05am to get a sandwhich for my daughter before school, in front of the building it says they open at 7:00am and I saw the door open so I opened it and asked the manager from this location if they were open and she angrily responded “No we aren’t open, we open at 8:00am!” I double checked the front again and saw their hours which says they open at 7:00am. I then later went back after dropping my daughter off at school and they were open at 7:30am. The manager from this location refused service to me but opened a couple minutes later. I was so upset and I’m not even going to bother going anymore. This isn’t the first time she gives the...
Read moreLiterally the worst subway in SD. One time the toaster was down so they couldn’t make all sandwiches and 90% of the time there’s a line outside of the door that takes so long as they’re so slow that people just leave, and every single time you go in there your sandwiche is just so sloppy that it’s almost impossible to eat. Last time we went in there at 5 PM on a Sunday night at the open sign was off and the door was locked there were three people outside and we saw one person in there and when she saw us she ran and hid in the back so we couldn’t even get food. Literally the spot that’s going to make subway go out of business from the...
