Great sandwiches with a lot of character and fresh ingredients. It’s a low-profile deli in a business park, but it’s obvious that true care is put into every sandwich and burrito they make. The complimentary pickles they give are pretty much perfect. Huge drink selection and free coffee too! If you’re looking for a sandwich in the Clairemont/Kearny Mesa area, you gotta try Surf N Sub Deli!

Deliciously awesome little sandwich shop. They are packed with flavor and stuffed with fresh ingredients. I've never been happier with a sandwich and these guys rock. Just call it in ahead or you will end up waiting because they're usually busy. It's definitely worth the wait, though.

I wish I found this place sooner! Family owned and everyone is so nice. Hands down the best sandwich shop. Bread was super fresh, perfect amount of sauce to chicken ratio. They were able to customize my sandwich the way I like. 11 out of 10!!

Waiting to have my vehicle done at a near by shop they said I could go over to this Deli. I had about an hour to kill so I sat down at their patio to get myself situated and before I even could walk in the lady came out and said I can only sit at the tables if I was ordering something. I would certainly understand if people were waiting to use the tables and would absolutely at that time give up my seat for someone needing to sit down, but that wasn’t the case. Nobody was around.

Absolutely outstanding menu of various subs and sandwhiches, they have assortments of bread and rolls, other snacks, energy drinks, bottled water. Even have a breakfast menu. Then menu is stacked.
