Kearny Mesa Deli — Restaurant in San Diego

I come here for coffee and I really do enjoy the taste of my iced latte. There are only 2 elder couple working. The guy on the sandwich, the lady on the drinks, register, helping guests, and giving out orders. If you are not a patient person and cannot understand that things will take time, then this place isn’t for you. They do not deserve people being meanies. My coffee order only takes 3-5 mins. Unlike Starbucks, 5-20mins. Peoples food orders typically only take 7-15mins max. Depending on how much they’ve ordered. (I sat down like a stalker and paid attention to everything around me to give you guys this review) To me, I see them moving fast. I hope this helps other people understand wait times. Oh yeah. My coffee is like $5. With Oatmilk, vanilla and lavender. I think that’s also a great price. Starbucks it’s like $7/$8 and isn’t half as good :( These are wait times during peak hours.

Aperture coffee is a coffee shop located inside the Kearny Mesa deli. My business partner and I were in the convoy area and we were looking for some good coffee. After looking around we decided to try out aperture coffee. The menu wasn't too big but it was precise and had what we wanted. My partner got the sweet cream latte and I got myself a golden hour espresso double shot. My espresso had a nice little sour tank to it but still had a nice coffee kick. I'll be sure to come back and try their espresso drinks the next time around. Ask for my partner's sweet cream latte he thought it was a little sweeter than he usually liked but wasn't too sweet. I was looking for a good coffee to grab not too far from where my car was having an oil change in Balboa. Came across this and tried it out. Calm and pleasant cafe/deli run by a nice couple. Cappuccino was great— right balance of espresso (they use Aperture Coffee) and frothy milk. Didn’t need sugar. Wife got a Chai Tea Latte with Oat milk. Also tried their Sunrise Sandwich with bacon and Avocado Toast. Both yummy sandwiches. Fair pricing— $26.60 for everything. They have a few seats indoors and a couple tables on their front patio.
