Yum Yum Donuts — Restaurant in San Diego

Update6/11/24. OH I want back in a few days later for one of these delicious warm muffins. My experience was even better than the first! The Young man greeted me kindly at the door and asked if it was for a group or just myself, just me. Excellent, he than explains very kindly the prices of the different things. I picked tge chocolate chip muffin and he offered to warm it up! Yes, please, and thank you 😊 🙏! It was so yummy! 5 stars and all the rest! -- Thank You YumYum! ............ I went in for a coffee and one of those cake donuts, the plain kind, cause I don't really like to much sweet of anything. But they didn't have it. So instead I opted for the cheese muffin! So so good! Way better than a plain cake donut. It was just the warm subtle sweet and creamy my heart was looking for. Thanks to whoever made those this morning! -- the service could be like actually nicer but that's a very rare thing to find in San Diego so I've stopped expecting it here. I just bought a 1/2 dozen donuts to eat in the store with my niece and nephew, I bit one, and told the lady that the donut was stale (I never left the establishment), and she told me that she couldn’t switch it for a different one. She said that the donut must have been from 12 noon and that’s why it wasn’t soft. I told her that I’ve bought donuts at 6am, and that they maintain their softness for at least one whole day. She said that since the donut was “touched” she couldn’t switch it for a different one. Super rude, bad customer service, and she could care less. I’m so disappointed in this location of Yum Yum. I've been going there over 20years, don't know any of the gals or guys, l forgot my cash, but don't realize that until it was time to pay. There was 3 beautiful Ladies working, and with a smile, said its okay next time? As I stood there with my coffee and donuts feels very uncomfortable. While sit there drinking my coffee, I realized I had a credit card behind my phone case, I went to the register paid. What a wonderful feeling to be trusted.
