I’ve lived here in Sylmar for over 20 years.. over the years this McDonald’s has really gone from decent to horrible. Every time my family or I go to the drive thru of this place we are sent to park on a number... they have 8 “reserved drive through” spots here but if they have them all filled they make u park in the parking lot and wait for your food... we’ll if people wanted to park and order they would.. but instead we go to the drive thru.. only to be sent to the parking lot to wait 10-15 mins for some 2 sandwiches? Really? I don’t mind waiting for a large order but two sandwiches... today I waited over 10 mins for the food I ordered.. which was fine but then the girl comes and gives me the sandwiches I ordered only to forget two more drinks that came with the order? Guys come on. I then had to wait another 10 mins for two beverages. I don’t know if it’s the fact that they added a two lane drive through or what. But I don’t see motivation in the employees. They come to the car (once the car from the drive thru is sent to wait in the lot) bring you your meal, and walk back to the restaurant soooooo slow.. like the girl who brought my sandwiches.. she walked back at such a slow pace to get the other two beverages.. she looked like she had no motivation. And it’s not only her, it’s other employees too. This has happened many times to my family and I. I don’t know what is going on here but I hope the management is changed, retrained or replaced. Someone is failing at keeping their employees moral happy! They should want to get everyone’s food out so they can clear the way whether it’s for a break or more costumers. Read moreJust went through the drive thru it's 3:00am getting food for me and my coworkers. First why is it that at this time in the morning they only take cash and do not honor any of the McDonald's rewards that I have earned. Does not seems like a very honest McDonald's for not only taking cash and not honoring valued customers rewards but will not even give me a receipt for what I purchased for me and my coworkers. When I asked the lady at the drive thru for the mangers name or the franchise owner information she told me to call corporate. She was very rude and I will be telling all of my coworkers to never stop by this McDonald's and to tell their family and friends how I was treated. Shame on the franchise Owner for letting this kind of treatment happen to any loyal McDonald's customers. Shame on you. Just got to work with the food for my coworkers and me and of course our food is cold. We only work 2 miles from this McDonald's and I had to wait for our food. I should have checked it before I left. What a strange coincidence 🤔....
Read moreI don't know why, but my experience here was just terrible. I ordered a happy meal with fries and apple slices. Paid, then pulled up to the last window and was handed my juice box and asked to pull into the 1st parking stall. There was No One Behind me and it was Not a big order. I asked again, you need me to pull over? There's no one waiting behind me and it's a small order. Again I was told to park in stall one. After a while, I was brought my order. Then noticed, the apple slices were missing. So I got my little one out of her seat and was about to walk into the store. The worker running the orders to the cars asked if I needed something, so I said yes please. We are missing our apple slices. So she went in to get them. I put my little one Back Into her her seat, the worker comes out... with French Fries! At this point, I am done. I again got my little one Out of the car, walked in myself and asked, can I Please just have her apple slices. I'm sorry, but I'm Never going back to...
