Al chile — Restaurant in San Francisco

Everything about this place is 5 stars. We went for dinner with 4 people total and ordered a ton. The carnitas and carne asada burritos, quesadilla, quesabirria, bean & cheese pupusa, and pescado frito. We kept eating despite being way too full because it was so good. Can't wait to go back.

What I maybe love most about this place is how it brings together the local community. It's a family-run business and lots of people from the neighborhood come in (teenagers, medical folks, construction workers, families, etc)....

Incredible first meal. Apparently they started as a food truck in the East Bay and decided to open a brick and mortar restaurant here in the Sunset (much needed). They had excellent customer service and were very baby-friendly. We ordered the pupusas, Salvadoran enchiladas, and surf and turf tacos. Ate at Al Chile yesterday and really enjoyed it! We ordered the quesabirria, two pupusas, and the flautas. Everything was delicious — my partner said the quesabirria was a big standout for him.
