I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Green Spa and Nails. I went in for dip powder manicure and left with a mess. 2 stars for great color selection, cleanliness, and friendly staff. I just wished they knew how to apply it to your nails properly. The dip is messily applied to the edges of nails and each nail is a different shape/size. I tried to say something to the tech during the experience, but was dismissed many times. I paid and left very frustrated after being at the salon for 2 hours which is long for this type of service. I called to see if I could speak to a manager and they told me they were on vacation for the next month. They kindly offered to redo my nails at another time, but I declined as I'm weary about the quality of their services at this salon. I really wanted to like this place since it's so convenient, but take your money to the other nail salons in the area.
Update: One of the kind techs called and said she spoke to her manager and offered for me to come in and get them removed for a full refund. I requested a refund without needing to come back into the salon, which they denied. The gesture was nice, but I'll just consider this experience a...
Read moreThese are photo representing a professional manicure service. First of all, love that each nail is done in varying lengths. I really like how each nail also has its own unique shape that looks like they belong on different hands. I especially love the right hand pointer where they shaved the sides down so much that I'm surprised it hasn't snapped off.
Second, love how well done the paint job is. If you look closer, you will notice the pooling in my cuticles. Top coat not covering the polish. Front of nail not wrapped at the tip. Bubbles galore in each nail. Polish on the skin on side of nail. It's truly breathtaken.
And last, of course is the "manicure" part. Nails are really cleaned up! Hang nails left untouched. Cuticles not pushed back. Still have gunk all over my hands from getting my acrylic taken off. I honestly don't know what I paid for.
Honestly, even tho it's cheap at 18 for a manicure, I would say it's not worth it. Just do it at home yourself. I will now be going home and cutting off my nails since there is...
Read moreI went there looking for manicure and waxing. The first time, they burned the skin on my eyelids. They did a nice job on the nails, thas why I came back. They sold me the dipping as longer lasting and better in general, so I tried it. I also wax my eyebrows and the lip. They burned me again. The result of the nails wasn't the best. They started to chip inmidiatly. I went there to ask about the craking and my lip. They said the nails were cracking because my nails are square shaped??? I came back a couple of days later because the dipping was falling apart. Again, they blamed the quality of my nails, saing my previous gel manicure (that they did) weekend the nails, and that's why it cracked. I just didn't wanna argue, so I asked for my...
