portrait mode cuz the bagel is just that good.
bones is so unique and delicious! love the sourdough and the bake on the bagel. it’s chewy, pillowy and got a bite to it. not trying to be an nyc bagel and not doing the weird boichik thing where it’s too thick. truly a one of a kind bagel and my favorite one i’ve found in sf. only other bagel in the bay that I like is Poppy in temescal but they’re doing a more classic bagel whereas this is more unique
elevated fixings: superb lox and gorgeous produce on the sandos. simple menu with intention! so grateful there is finally a good bagel in the neighborhood, will definitely be frequenting this spot. the shop has immaculate vibes with local art and nice people working who clearly enjoy each other/ what they do! also gotta say the choc chip cookie is perhaps the best i’ve ever had and i really enjoyed the iced tea

Overall, not the best bagel I’ve ever had in SF. HOWEVER, because of its incredibly convenient location, I’d still rank it in my top 5 bagel spots in the city. Worth checking out if you’re...
Read moreSOURDOUGH BAGELS! It is borderline too chewy to the point where I was worried I’d have fillings falling out of my teeth; it’s almost Montreal bagel-like. The price and wait are better than Courage Bagels in LA, but there’s the same chewiness and elevated lox experience. The cream cheese is salty and almost like cheese (instead of cream, like what Boichik is like). The little glug of olive oil really elevates the experience. The pickled onions bring the right touch of acid, and I much prefer cucumber to tomato on lox.
There can be a line but it’s never bad! The interior of the shop is...
