The epitomable (as Tom Waits would say) neighborhood bar in Now Valley which, as I write this, is hours away from the next California statewide stay at home order due to COVID-19. This is the late evening gathering spot for many Noe Valleyans to catch a Giants or 49ers game with friends, or to grab a pint of Anchor Steam to reflect on the day or week.
