Before you go into this restaurant, be aware that this is CASH ONLY.

TL;DR version:

average food bad customer service CASH ONLY

ATMOSPHERE: Thank goodness there weren't a lot of people when my friend and I went in here. We thought there would be a line outside just because this area was always busy. The restaurant was rather small and quaint. The noise level wasn't loud so it was a great place to have breakfast.

FOOD: I ordered the corned beef has & two eggs which came with house potatoes and bread. I love my eggs scrambled with hot sauce and I would say that it tasted average. The corned beef hash was more on the dry side which was okay too. I was honestly expecting the house potatoes to be different than what it came out to be. I would say the house potatoes were pretty good; a little above average.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: This is where this place lost its stars. The customer service that we experienced was HORRIBLE. We were seated and waited 5 minutes until our server gave us our menus. It took about another 5 minutes to get our order in. When we were ready to check out, it literally took between 10-15 minutes to pay our bill and leave because our server was ignoring us and had to go up to pay for it.

Would I come back here? Eh. Would I recommend this to a friend? Ehh.. Gotta step...

Dumpling Park touts the slogan "Never Stop Exploring," which is clearly a ripoff from the North Face.

We visited on a Sunday evening. It's clear that Dumpling Park has very poor management. One waitress was doing a solid job, but was overworked (busing all the tables), while her co-worker was walking around without any sense of urgency (he is probably new, but he appeared to be wandering around aimlessly during rush hour). Customers were waiting entirely too long outside while tables were already available. Once seated, we waited 20 minutes for our orders to be taken.

The scallion pancakes are low quality and were burned; beef tendon noodle soup was boring (not many fixings in a bowl of soup with packaged noodles). The green beans did not have much flavor. The Ma Po tofu was terrible.

In conclusion, there was no effort in how the food was cooked. One waitress was doing the job of two people. And there was a dead fly in...

I'm sure the 4.1 this place currently has would be much lower if it wasn't mixed up with a well reviewed breakfast place.

Service was very bad, we arrived about an hour before close and watched the server repeatedly get annoyed and rush anyone who came in. There was a weird sense of urgency in cleaning up as people left, but there wasn't a sense of cleanliness, just urgency. There also wasn't much urgency when it came to actually serving though.

We eventually got water, it was served warm and frothy. The cups must have not have been rinsed or cooled after having soap applied. They probably don't have time to rinse at this place, so I'm sure the food has soap baked in as well.

The food was ok, but don't expect it to come with any of the seasonings or garnishes you see on the menu's pictures, it'll likely just be a doughy blob with...

We were a group of 5 adults and 4 toddlers, so we wanted a casual place that would have good Chinese food and allow for toddlers to move around. This spot did not disappoint. Food was really good, and also very quick. We got a bunch of dumplings & pot stickers, all delicious. spicy eggplant was amazing, Mongolian beef was a big hit with my 1.5 meat lover. Also got some chow mein and rice noodle Chow mein. Everything was devoured. For dessert, had to get my favorite: sesame balls. We will definitely go back next time we are in the city. Didn’t get any pictures of the food but you can see it’s super casual, we got plastic plates for the kids, no high chairs but it was fine since they are all over 1. Super mellow spot.

I should have done my research prior to going. I've walked by this place several times and thought that I'd check it out. I ordered for pickup after a nearby appointment. Steamed pork buns, shu mai, and chicken chow mei was $21 and change with tax. The chow mein was a smidge oily. The shu mai with the hot sauce that they gave was delish. Steamed bun was ok but I was hoping for more meat than bun. There were folks dining in and out. I was able to order online but opted to pay in-store. I paid with Google pay BUT they still wanted to sign with a pen. :(
