Boy, this place had gone downhill in the last couple of years. Workers don't care who and how they serve. Slices aren't served warm enough-just because I like cold pizza doesn't mean I want it cold. Went there for a slice and a coke for a late lunch, like 2pm. Stuck the slice in the oven, then rang me up for $5 and change, I thought I was done. I got the warm slice but I asked for my coke. The server says "oh, I didn't hear you," hands me the coke and proceeds to do something else. If he didn't hear me, well, I'm ready to pay. I wait there wanting to pay, even reaching for my wallet and he does nothing. I'm standing in front of him... Nothing. I don't have time to wait so I sit down to eat my pizza. When I'm done, I clean up my table and I'm almost out the door and he yells "Hey, you didn't pay for you soda!" like I'm trying to bail on him. Dude, you had plenty of time to charge me and you didn't, so what the heck? I go back to pay and he's got this attitude like he just caught a shoplifter, making stink-eye the whole time. I've been to Goat Hill more times than he's worked there. Unfortunately as good as their pizza is, I'm...

This pizza has excellent sourdough crust that is hefty and will not get soggy by the time you ferry your pizza home. It also does mean slices to order, and I like their pizzas of the day where they throw a combo together so you don't have to think. Solid pizza at an average San Francisco price. This isn't anything fancy like D.O.C. Neapolitan but it will make you happy if you are craving flavorful, crunchy dough, melted cheese and some vegetables or meat.
Their soup or salad lunch is a decent deal. I think it's $6 or $7 for a two-topping slice and your choice of soup or salad. The minestrone was just OK and the salad was your standard iceberg, olive, cucumber, tomato, pepperoncini affair, but it kind of made me feel healthy. Still, it remains one of the best quick lunch options on West Portal for a hot meal. Seating is limited and slightly awkward. Remember this was a Baskin Robbins...
Read moreI use to come here once in a while when I worked in the neighborhood . Pizza is great so the review is not about the pizza it's about the customer service It looks like it got overrun by teen workers who just hang out there while their friends are working and eat free pizza. The girl with glasses and loose hair who was helping us was being very rude never greeted us just stood there staring at us and randomly yelling at her friends i had to repeat my order since she wasn't paying attention when our pizza slices were ready she just threw them on the counter without saying anything. I definitely will not be coming back or recommending this...
