Larsen Playground — Attraction in San Francisco

Reopened November 2015 as an airport themed playground. One play structure is a jet, complete with turbulence, while the other is SFO with a check-in desk and pile of luggage to climb on. Both structures are metal, rope, and plastic over a cushy rubber base. The park is next to busy and trafficky 19th avenue, and while it didn't have a fence, it is sunk down a few feet, which gets rid of most of the worry of little kids running off. Newly renovated playground in a convenient location. This is a small, but nicely designed playground near a busy intersection. The target age is 2-5, but bigger kids will also enjoy the structures. It is adjacent a larger park area with tennis and an open field for sports. There is ample parking in the error, so this is a great place to come if you're on near 19th Avenue and you want your kids to use up some energy...
