Ok so I was at a local watering hole and was peckish, so I looked on Google maps to see what was near by and a few things popped up like Squat n Gobble and Toast, so I asked the bartender and he said without a dout Toast was the place to checkout. Turns out he was spot on, Toast had plenty of Segway/bicycle parking and even a security guard to watch them and us. Sat down was immediately met with a waitress and water. They have drink's!! So we ordered a mimosa and a bloody Mary, you have to keep a steady buzz going when out n about on ur day off right? Turns out the food was good, we had a lil custom order help from our waitress who really helped us figure out how to get everything we wanted without having to order full orders of items and helped figure out how to get those items that didnt come alacart. It's was our waitress that made our visit complete and perfect. If you find yourself in the area, you cannot go wrong with this place it's totally worth the drive/walk up from Stonestown mall n your hungry. I will be back, that corned beef hash is truely awesome yummy!

This was astoundingly bad. These are by far, by such an astronomical margin, the worst chilaquiles I have ever had in my entire life. To elaborate, let’s start with a definition of what chilaquiles actually are: quartered, fried tortilla slices slathered in salsa, queso fresco, crema, and often times beans, fried onions, eggs, and avocado or guacamole. They are not a pathetic amalgamation of plain tortilla chips drowned in store bought salsa verde with a poorly cooked, greasy, unseasoned egg thrown on top. This was embarrassing for everyone involved. I’m not the type to ask for a refund, but I think I should have here. Instead, I’ll just make sure to never come back and suggest that you do the same.

This was my first time at Toast Eatery and it was alright. Service was quick and our order was taken quickly. I ordered the corn beef and hash and I did not like it. It had some good flavor but all of that is negated by how oily it was. I took one bite and my mouth felt extremely greasey. I asked the person I was with and they agreed. It could have just been me and I'm not used to how "real" corn beef is made, but this was a turn off. I could not finish the entire thing and I always put in the effort to do so. I am willing to give this place another try, just not this corn beef.

This review is for delivered food only (via DoorDash):

Satisfying breakfast overall. Missed some key details in my opinion and some items felt overpriced.

Oatmeal with fruit - a bit bland for my taste. No cinnamon, milk, brown sugar, syrup or other spices offered. Good portion with generous fruit amount, though!

French toast - excellent taste and they accommodated my request for both berries and bananas instead of having to choose one. Perfectly cooked, 6 pieces of baguette and arrived with 3 butter rectangles (butter was not listed in Door Dash). Overpriced for size ($17.95). Not served with syrup so that was annoying - they should list that syrup is not included with the order.

Side of syrup - I was surprised at how little was included. For $2 it was a single small salad dressing cup. If I was at the restaurant I definitely would have had more but as it was I rationed it. Probably would have ordered more if they were clear about how little syrup it would be.

Side of Bacon - asked for “extra, extra, extra crispy (burned, hard and dry is ideal)” and it was barely crispy. Good flavor. Only 3 pieces for $6.95.

Side of 2 Scrambled eggs - good, perfectly cooked.

Side of hash browns - listed on Door Dash as “topped with melted cheddar, sour cream, avocado and green onion.” Came as a barely cooked (but generously portioned) pile of hash browns only. Served with a small salad dressing cup of ketchup so that was a nice surprise. Ketchup should be listed in Door Dash listing.

Fyi, all sides arrived in the same box which was fine for me but might have been a problem for some vegans or vegetarians.

Ordered on moving day so I toggled the “receive cutlery and napkins” button and received neither. Had to eat...

Was a handy place on our way to another spot in the area so we wentherefor brunch, stood by register & waited a few minutes. Everyone was so busy they seemed to not know what we were there for. Finally had to ask be seated. The server was at the table within two minutes asking for our order. Told him to give us time to look the menu over, please bring us decaf coffees & tomato juice meantime. So he told us there was no tomato juice, brought us coffee. After 1 taste I set mine aside as it tasted like it had come from a vending machine; lukewarm & bitter. A member of our party asked him about the level of spiciness of the chilaquiles. He said they not at all spicy, I asked for the combo plate which consisted of 2 eggs, French toast, sausage & potatoes. I asked for fruit instead of potatoes he told me he could substitute but it cost extra. Things were less than ideal; I remembered why I go to another place down the peninsula instead. Food came mine was so so, French toast was dry. The chilaquiles that the other person ordered were covered in green chili sauce that tasted like they had just opened a can & poured on top, plus the whole thing was so spicy no amount of sour cream on top could calm it down. This is a place I won't be returning to no matter how convenient it might be...

went with my family on 4th of July, male waiter with tattoos and a blonde woman served us. The man spilt orange juice on me and my brother and expected us to clean it and made US get napkins to clean it up and never apologized, then the woman took our order and I (Muslim) lied about being allergic to pork so they wouldn’t put bacon in my meal (some restaurants will discriminate when I tell them I’m Muslim or won’t care, but take allergies more seriously) and she said the cooks are used to making it with bacon and told me to order something else. The service was actually horrible, slow, everyone was rude. I didn’t tip, but the woman used my card and gave herself a 10 dollar tip, and after calling my bank and confronting them, they refused to send my bank a copy of the receipt and made their coworker (who looked like she was 13-14) go to the bank near the restaurant and take out 10 dollars from her personal account to pay me back. Do not go here unless you want to feel rich buying overpriced food, or want money stolen from your account. If you plan on coming here...
