HSS 121 Cafe — Restaurant in San Francisco

Little cafe with hairy sandwiches.

This cafe, located inside the HSS Building at San Francisco State University, is almost never busy and delivers tasty sandwiches for prices comparable to other campus cafes. However, while eating a sandwich, I discovered a hair. It measured about six inches and was dyed red. For a second, I thought it could've been mine, but I have shorter hair that isn't red. I soon found more strands of hair while eating.

The sandwich itself was pretty good. I ordered a Milano club, which had tomatoes, onion, pesto, bacon, turkey, and swiss on ciabatta. It was sliced perfectly in the center and was phenomenal, except for the hair. The sandwich would be enough for two kids or people who aren't really hungry. I think $9.50 is a bit steep though. In total, I found five strands of hair while eating the sandwich. I also had a medium mocha. It was sweet and tasted like a mix of coffee and chocolate, as expected. There are lids, napkins, and sweeteners in the adjacent room. There are also two vending machines, but they aren't well-stocked.

There is no seating, but you can find benches outside the building or somewhere else inside the building. The service was pretty good and it wasn't busy at all, even during lunchtime. If my sandwich didn't have hairs, I would give this...
