I've only been here once, but I definitely plan to try more of their menu. I got the Baby Bangus meal which comes with a fried egg, tomato wedges, and garlic rice. $6.25. I also added popcorn chicken for $4.25 since they ran out of lumpia by the time I got there at 3PM, which was pretty close to closing. The food is simple, and wasn't mind blowing or anything, but I think that's why I enjoyed this so much. This place is another one of the last bastions in the city for cheap, decent food. This place also reminded me of some of the Filipino restaurants I went to growing up in South Bay, just a bit more run down. You can tell this place has been here a while, since they have some old school cigarette ads up, and interestingly, they preserved their old menu above the counter with prices I can only assume were from the 90s-early 2000's? A full lunch special meal for $3.50???? I should ask them about when that was next time. I guess you should also come early since by the time I got there, a few things were sold out. Edit: forgot to add that there wasn't any seating at the time of this review (common these days post-pany), so bear that in mind. I just ate on the curb

Since my last review, we had a moment where we went here almost every Saturday, even when I'd get off of work early. We've tapered off a little. We didn't want to get sick of it. The food has always been consistent. The only change now is they don't give as much rice. They used to top it off where you needed double the meat. Price has gone up by .50 because of egg price increase. My go to now is HK Style porkchop, longanisa, and lumpia shanghai. Don't forget cash only!. This place has been around for a long time. I started going here when I was in high school, which was a little while ago. This place isn't the fanciest but simple.. kinda run down now. It's been a while since I've been here. But they do still have one of the cheapest silog breakfasts that you can still get for about $5 -6. Very hard to find nowadays. Think with Mcd you easily spend $10 for a breakfast meal. They are always busy and easily run out of certain items in the morning. Food to me was mediocre, but it gets the job done. I haven't tried the HK style pork chop in a while, so I might go back to try that. This time we go the usual staples: longanisa, tocino, and tapa

I took a bus from downtown SF to get here which took about 35 minutes (including the little bit of walking you'll do after your bus stop). The place is cash only but you truly don't need much (max $15 if you want a side + drink, but you don't need it lol). I ordered the Hong Kong Style Fried Porkchop Plate that comes with garlic fried rice, fried egg and tomato slices...for $7! It's the perfect amount for two if you want a good filling lunch. I ate all of mine because I das pretty hungry, but you'll see in the pictures just how much for I was handling: 2 pork chops, 2 cups of fried rice and those add-ins. The tomato is an essential acid to cut through the delicious oiliness you're eating. I'll be back, with a coke or Dr. pepper in hand, as I think it would complete the meal:)

Casual and super cheap hole in the wall that serves a great portion of food. They serve Chinese food but mainly offer Filipino food, and by that, I mean Silogs. Quality has been consistent since Day 1 for me. Been coming here since I was in high school, and that was a million years and a lifetime ago. Seems like the exact same people work there, all nice and friendly, but damn, they don't seem to age and I'm jealous AF.

Affordable pricing which means one can probably eat here everyday. I mean, their prices have barely gone up, like $2 more in the last 20+ years! Lunch rush includes plenty of students in the nearby schools. They used to only accept cash for a long time but now accept major cards (I think, but honestly, now I can't remember if I've ever paid with a card just because I've gotten used to the cash only thing, but I'm... pretty sure?)

Any silog is a good choice but their Hong Kong style pork chops-silog? OMG gimme...
