Most bars like this only take cash, but even though they still use one of those cool really old push button ding registers they actually have a card processor thingy too. The bartender if friendly and helpful when asking about nearby eateries. Now, about the bar tools who hold up the end of the bar to keep it from falling, well they are the part of what makes a local watering hole fun. The conversations and comical pokes n jabs as new old customers come n go is as much fun as watching your favorite late night show. I came here to watch the basketball finals and had some friends meet up with me later. Yes, I went to a bar by myself and unlike another review here I did not get harassed. The people there were really nice and the bar mascot, a dog (whose name I cannot remember), is super friendly! We played music on the joke box later and had a couple rounds of drinks. It was really fun and not that expensive. There is a pool table upstairs but I never ventured up there to play.
