New lounge, woo! The guy at the door was super chill. Say hi to him if you can. Drinks were good, but not great. Their take on a Manhattan, which I got, was a little too sweet for my liking. I did like the theme of their drinks menu. The menu itself is a little bland, especially for how the space is decorated. There is a fire pit inside, with actual fire, which is sweet. The walls, lights, and upholstery, are all carefully done. We liked it. I wish they included taxes in their drink prices. House cocktails are all $12, and so you end up paying at $13+ just including tax. Was really crowded the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Unsure if that's the norm. Will be going back to give it...
Read moreI write very few reviews... However I couldn't help. It wrote two tonight...one condemming riptide...across the street. This one however, for whotecap. Loved Everytime I walked through the door. And typically I'd preffp the dive...but not when it's riptide. Whitecap has premium cocktsils. However the slightly higher pirice is so significantly offset by sevice and quality I'll never walk across the street again. Not to mention I finally found a Manhattan where the bitters didn't overpower the rest of the drink.
