Andytown Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in San Francisco

I was a Jonesn for some good coffee on Sunday afternoon May 11th. This was my first time. I walked in. I stood in front of counter unsure of the counter process.

I stood there as the woman behind the counter completely ignored me, didn’t look at me, didn’t acknowledge that I was even standing there.

She proceeded to help the person behind me. I wasn’t sure what was going on. Did she know that person or was just being rude, so I stood there for 5 minutes thinking this place sucks.

I never was helped or offered service. I just left.

She had an unhappy demeanor and was just generally unpleasant. Maybe she no longer works there. if that’s the case I will go back. In fairness I tried multiple times to call and speak with manager and they kept saying they weren’t there and...

I got in line at 2:48 after some minutes one guy came out and said to the first two people that they were not sure if they could help them, then they didn't say anything to me or my brother. We kept waiting because we really wanted to try the coffee here. Then they came out and told two people behind us that they couldn't help them.Then when we were at the door they say we couldn't get anything but iced coffee no drips or anything else. I don't know why they didn't came to us and told us they couldn't help us from the begging is it because i'm mexican? everyone else was being helped.They just made us wait there and denied to prepare anything else just because the barista didn't wanted to. Andytown Coffee is hands down the best coffee I had in San Francisco. I tried their iced lavender latte, which is a seasonal specialty, and it was incredible—easily one of the best flavored lattes I’ve ever had. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I also ordered the Original Breakfast Sandwich, and it was amazing. It comes on perfectly toasted sourdough—soft on the inside with a slight crunch—stuffed with bacon, ham, eggs, and melted cheddar cheese. Every bite was comforting and flavorful.
