Yasmin — Restaurant in San Francisco

As i was walking by this place they were playing get it sexy by sexy red when i walked in the cashier instantly turned it off, i he said family friendly songs only i laughed and said oh that's your play list he said yeah so i said hmm, anyway im new to your restaurant i glanced at the menu i said i don't want anything too heavy so i will just take an order of fries which cost 5.43 cent he gave me one 1 dollar bill and one 5 dollar bill and told me my change was 14.57 cent so i asked him how much was my fries you only gave me 1 dollar bill and a 5 dollar bill he said no i gave you a 10 and a 5 i had a five in my pocket already i pulled that out to put thay with my change so he gave me two 3 fives i gabe him his dollar back. So he went to the manager and asked the manager to pull up the cameras then the manager came to me and said he gave you the correct money he gave you a 10 and a 5 see look, you can not see the numbers on the bills i told this man he only gabe me a one dollar bill and a fibe dollar bill as im saying that the cashier say see see i told you because im 10 dollars short so i empties my pockets i empties my bra i take off my sweater i empty that and all you see is 4. Five dollar bills. Ebt card and my Id felt so hummuliated all the workers were surrounding me and the customers were just watching me they all just staring at me.like im a thief after i emptied out all my pockets the manager say its cool and walked away the cashier says you want your fries for here or to go after waiting for 10 min you never put my order in either oh my god i just said how about i just go I feel humiliated and discrimated you think i will steal or lie this mam never pulled out a ten. Dollar bill and the way i was treated man i never got to eat the food i never got to try the food either i was discrimated and accused of pulling a fast one i will bever bring my family here nor my friend's just based off service and the treatment i recieved. Honestly i felt afraid...

There are better Middle Eastern restaurants in the Mission that have been around way longer and actually care about their customers. Restaurants are hurting for business during the pandemic. I choose to be discerning about who I give my business to.

I noticed that my order was leaking because the wrong kind of paper container was used. When I went inside to talk to the owner, he kept saying that the container he uses is the most expensive on the market and that the owner of the most expensive restaurant in SF goes container shopping with him and uses the same one. I then pointed out that he had several types of containers and asked him which one he was referring to as the "finest" of takeout containers. He pointed to a plastic one. I told him the container I was given was a different paper one and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Suddenly, a female relative of his with a baby on her hip came out and started yelling at me, "Just don't come back." Whether or not the owners stay in business, I hope that innocent baby has a...

Update: I am lowering my review due to the disappointing behavior of the owner. He claims this street's bike lane is islamophobic because it hurts his business, even though sales tax data shows the bike lane hasn't had an impact. He also ignores the benefits, like how I visited more often because it's nice to scooter up from 24th. Now I will just scooter a bit further and enjoy restaurants with more reasonable owners.
