Gold World Plaza — Restaurant in San Gabriel

This review is for Tasty Duck in the Gold World Plaza. Met up with friends for Lunar New Year lunch. Lot of restaurants in the plaza. We ended up eating at Tasty Duck. There was just one lady serving us and she was not attentive. Food was served but still no tea. After a 2nd request for tea, she brought two kettles. Tea was not refilled although both lids were tilted on the kettles (sign for refrill). The server came by and brought out new dishes and did not refill the tea. Had to ask her again. She didn't come by to check on how we're doing or ask if we need anything else. We're the one customers at that time. We ordered a 10-course banquet meal. Food was okay. Definitely could be better since it's a $278 per table for 12. For that price you could go to the 2nd floor in the same plaza and get a better banquet style menu with lobster. We ate at that restaurant before and we like it. We went to Tasty Duck because it was recommended by a friend. For next year's lunar new year celebration, we definitely go to the restaurant on...

Golden Soup Restaurant - I was not impressed with its food。 The 河粉was awefully fried, broken noodles, lousy taste. The portions were on the light side. The food presentation was poor. See the pictures. The prices were up $2-$4 prior Covid - an excuse all restaurants take to jack up prices.
