Banh Mi & Che Cali — Restaurant in Rosemead

This review is for Banh mi & Che Cali by 888 restaurants. Super rude and unprofessional customer service. I came here early Saturday 0ct, October 23 around 7 mornings for my banh gio and some other food. The lady, who was in charge of the cashier, was really rude. For example, I asked if I can get the receipt after, she said if you don't pay first how can I give you back the receipt. I did not see the pen to sign, she told me, " it is right in front of me, didn't you see?" She was not happy and frustrated. Even though she had only one customer before me, the place was not busy at that time. That man, who was in front of me, asked her a question and her answer was in an unacceptable tone. In my opinion, if you are not happy with the place then leave. She works here at the same time every time I come for my food. Manager please read this ( if she is your relative or not -do something) and make some improvements to customer service. You can a full meal well under $5 and even a drink maybe 6 or 7 max. I miss that they no longer full Pho... actually their hot entrée is only serve in smaller portion but also cheaper. Everything is now takeout only. Their main attraction is their Banh Mi (Vietnemese Sandwitch), they made in daily and in general is good if you get them in the morning. I would avoid them in later of the day which most likely been seated for a while. That same goes to most of the package food. Their drink and dessert is noticeable weaker than most competitor. They likes to put a lot of ice in the drinks and dessert which I don't like.

This is cash only, I don't found a reason for me to go Subway. This is far cheaper and you get some nice spring roll too for the same or less than a typical Subway Sandwich. when the cashier give you a change, please check before you leave. I had a mistake when the cashier give me back the change. I didn't check it is correct. because I only have $20 in my purse. I bought 2 bread only $3. and support to give me back $17. but when I go to get my bread and come back I want to buy the meat loaf and the meat loaf was $7.67 and pull out the change that she give only a minutes ago that was only $12. one $10 and two $1. and I told her she said she gave me $17. that was not true. because I find all my purse only $12 in there. don't have any more money.
